New Veigar feels like playing with 600+ Ping.

That is not an over exaggeration. When you have ping, you press a button then wait for a while for the action to register, correct?

That is literally what playing Veigar is like. You press E, then...nothing. Nothing happens for ages and when it does, it's already too late. The enemy is miles away already and all your skills are on cooldown. Revert the E changes or at the very least, shorten the cast time. It has actually killed Veigar. You can't even trap a Vek'Koz in that thing anymore. I know the Tiny Master of Evil has counterplay issues but making him unplayable himself solves nothing.

I actually like the Veigar changes. It gives counter-play. Just see where it goes first.

He never had counterplay issues. He was weak in lane, had limited range, no mobility and a ton of other weaknesses to exploit. So what if you couldn't dodge his spells.

By releasing this rework, Riot essentially told us that any counterplay that isn't about dodging something is not considered meaningful or important. Because screw strategy! Dodging skillshots is more LCSBIGPLAY worthy.

Fighting a Veigar with anything over 80 ping is currently like committing Seppuku. EVERY. SINGLE. FIGHT.

There is no counterplay to his skills, so adding a cast time is a perfect lever.
