Gangplank vs. Aatrox

Why the hell is Gangplank so good at 1v1? I thought he's not a fucking duelist ?

I mean, i usually win hard very early (as it should be). But once he builds only sheen / LVL6, it's being retardedly op in 1v1 situations. He doesn't even have to get a barrel to kill me. He simply outdmgs my healing from W instantly... and once he Ults, he just runs away while im being slowed, and kite me to death, even if i have flash. One Q = crit = half my HP....

No matter how hard i win early, as soon as he finishes just one item he can outduel me, no matter how strong i am....

Aatrox is one of the worst champions in league atm, that's probably a big reason.

And yes GP is a duelist and specializes in kiting so that makes it even more difficult for champions like Aatrox that are countered by kite.

The funny thing is everytime I fight a gangplank I win was aatrox and I main aatrox if your new then yes he wil beat you. I have 240K mastery with aatrox I want to fight gangplank cuz I know I can beat him. Aatrox counters gangplank his barrels heal you for god sakes wait for him to e then jump on with blood prise on and keep In there until you hit 25% HP if you feel like that's not safe then do it at 50%. Gp is easy just wait for him to e. Use your e to poke him save your jump if you are worried about a gank. Like for real dude. And if say you do all these things then your just being aggressive. Plz don't hate on this just trying to help out people that play aatrox.

If you pay really attention you will see i have no problems early to win 1v1 against GP. My problem is once he finishes building Trinity Force. Full hp vs. full HP a good GP will 90% win a 1v1 after Trinity Force.

I have a very versatile build path. When i'm against a bursty/CC team > Titanic Hydra 1st When i'm against a low cc team > Ravenous or Botrk vs. many tanks When i'm really ahead > Guinsoo's

Usually against GP it doesn't matter what i build. I always ward/push lane into his tower (yet he can farm decently with his barrels). I try to poke when his waves pushes mine with my MAXED E, and try to all-in him when he is <50%hp. I usually get a kill (i have ignite), but he also manages to put my passive down when killing him due to his retard OP ult.

That's good the way I play him I don't play him like most people. I get black cleaver first for health cool down and okay damage. This item is surprisingly good on aatrox your jump is on a way shorter cool down and the 30% armor pen is a plus makes fighting you a pain. The movement speed is really good getting you kills. Don't hate me for saying the next item infinity edge. Armor or mr Boots phantom dancer. Hydra, and Gage. You have good health and great damage and you will win every 1v1 and you blow up carry's. You have 3K health. Try this build in this order. At least one game try to get 2 kills in lane and good gank mid every one's in a while. Did it dose not work for you then idk
