Lost promos due to crash in champ select

Can someone remind me why dodging in champ select counts as a loss during your promos? So stupid and extremely tilting, there is no reason why someone shouldn't be able to dodge, even if it's on purpose, due to trolls. When it happens because of a bugsplat, it's just plain bs and creates even more toxicity from tilt. Why is Riot giving trolls the ultimate power in champ select? and also fuck my client.
