How do I stop being toxic?

I just can't help myself. Whenever somebody talks to me or does some passive aggressive shit I feel the urge to flash under their tower and int. Whenever I see a really stupid play I feel the urge to spam ping. How do you guys cope?

  1. Take anger management classes. If small things tilt you that easy you have anger issues.

2)Realize it's just a game no matter how bad you or someone else is. It's. Just. A. Game.

3)Say ok when someone talks shit to you then mute them. Don't be one of those dumbasses that say "muting" then doesn't mute. Just mute them without letting them know. Chances are they're getting more tilted that you aren't raging. (btw you can just click the mute button dont have to type it)

  1. Realize EVERYONE makes mistakes, EVERYONE has bad games. You don't know if they have high ping. You don't know if they mistimed or misjudged something. You've missed smite before. You've failed a skillshot before.

  2. Turn off ping sounds. If anything this will help improve your map awareness as you won't have pings to alert you for stuff you should be noticing on your own.

  3. Find something that actually causes you to enjoy the game. You'll often find yourself less angry if you enjoy yourself

Please just quit the game if you are toxic. No one needs it. You ruin the game intentionally because you enjoy it. It's even more sad that you beg for even MORE attention on the forums.

I let them die so they learn their lesson (as a support)

Just kidding... or am I?

I mean you have tovrralize that you do stupid mistakes even when no one is flaming you

Regain my confidence by killing someone or making a good play or something. If that doesn't work, welp, look at what you did right so far to regain your confidence

Honestly. Everything is considered toxic these days. So good luck.

I don't mind making mistakes, I don't get tilted from losing. It's when somebody on my team pisses me off, which causes me to stop caring about the game. I want to be able to be positive without typing /mute all every game, because I can't bring myself to just mute someone after they start flaming, I just get engulfed into it and start flaming myself. Tbh I don't really see any other solution though. I think I will start doing /mute all, if only it worked for pings. Has anyone ever been in my position, and been able to change their attitude?

I play a Bot match as AD Raka, Sona, Janna, Morg, Nami, etc. and stomp on some bots with off meta builds, then feel really proud of myself when I see the end result.
