I am having no problems with my internet outside of the game, I can watch youtube videos and open sites easily. But whenever I play league, I randomly disconnect for around 30 seconds even while my internet is still clearly up. This just started happening after I updated my client.

This just started happening to me as well today (March 9th) right after the mini patch where they released the new zyra skin and chromas. I went from having consistent 30-40ping to spikes up to 100 where i then lag out and eventually dc. Its happened every game since the mini patch. Restarting my router and computer has done nothing, i think it's definitely on riots end and i hope they fix it soon so i can continue grinding the ranked ladder! My friend who lives in the next city over is also having the same issue and his internet is way better than mine.
I've also just started having issues since the last update kicked in. I've always had a steady 25-50 ping without any lag spikes but am spiking and dcing every few minutes in game right now. I'm unable to play until this is resolved. I've submitted a ticket but so far only got the standard "please see our connection issues page response". I even included a tracert that shows the hop to rito servers timing out.
Is this client side or connection side? Anyone else using Rogers??
Was doing some more digging. Are you by any chance on Rogers? Apparently they are having some issues.
On different isps but I too have been constantly dcing since this last patch came out. One game alone I dc like...5-7 times at least? I'm not even kidding. I would dc for a few minute at a time. Luckily it was just an ARAM. And I get connection errors when I first load into a game saying they are having issues reaching the server. Makes me force the client to fully close and restart it and log in again. It's very tedious and frustrating.
