Regardless, arrogance and assholery are not welcomed on the forums.

I'd actually like to dispute that point. Isn't the majority of the community lower rank?

Don't get me wrong. Riot shouldn't change everything to cater to these players (I'm included among these players).

But if something is running rampant so pervasively that it kills diversity and fun for this lower skill level majority, then that holds some weight with regards to business concerns because when the game isn't fun people quit. And losing paying customers is not good business.
