When is riot going to release a new fighter?

Title.

In the past patches we've been introduced to many new champions. With the latest release of neeko i remembered that all these new champions were everything but fighters. I mean come on! League hasn't seen a fighter since Kled and he was not the best fighter riot could create.

All these annoying champions ( ). When we are going to see one that will play 1v1 melee with ad items and such?

PS. No, this is not a fighter, more like a tank bruiser.

Illaoi is a juggernaut, which is also a subclass of fighter.

Hes a diver which is a sub category of the fighter class.

One could argue that Kled is a bruiser, not a diver. Divers have the ability to assassinate, Kled doesnt really assassinate so much as runs at people until they die.

But this is splitting a lot of hairs, theyre all fighters. Any melee champion who is not a true tank is a fighter. True tank in this case is defined as a lack of relevant scaling and base damage, usually with some kind of resistance scaling.

Bruiser isnt an official class by Riot though. These are the classes and subclasses

... Yeah no, thats not true and i dont really care what the wiki says. Riots whole 'system' is honestly confuisng and way to bloated.

Fighter is a class of champion that generally encompasses melee champions who are not tanks.

Fighters are champions whose itemization primarily focuses on Offense+resistances.

Bruisers are champions whose itemization primarily focuses on AD+HP and whose kits contain general mobility and CC.

Juggernauts are champions whose itemization primarily focuses on HP+AD+CDR and whose kits generally do not contain general mobility.

Tanks are champions whose itemization focuses on HP+resistances and whose kits generally do not contain general mobility and have reliable hard CC, or have abilities which scale off of resistances.
