Because they are so OP people have to come onto the forums to complain. Asking for item nerfs, gold nerfs, skill nerfs. Because supports are unskilled and overpaid for their job.

Actually a good support can carry their ADC. Spoon feeding kills. You could say that the support does all the work, and the ADC is just there to press some buttons and right click.

I was being sarcastic, because people on the forums come on to complain how easy support is, easy climb. But then they never play it.

I don't know about higher skill cap. But yea it is unskilled in some mechanics, I have no problem admitting that is probably one contributing factor that I went there. But it isn't like spam Janna climb to Plat.

I've seen supports make or break the team. Sure, you have the 20/0 ADC dishing out loads of damage, but the support is likely the reason they got there, as well as heavy peel and crap. A really good support can sometimes be even better than that one guy who right clicks. It's just anyone can play support, but playing it well takes quite a lot of skill in that role.

Edit: I'm not saying support is the hardest role. Personally I think jungle is, but if you think about it, it's quite a support-y role. It's got the most similarities.
