I will be honestly astonished if ekko's ult actually rewinds the ENTIRE GAME by 4 seconds

I just don't see how thats even feasible. Plz stop giving such credit to some small whispers on the internet that this is going to be a thing.

I don't even wanna think how confusing that would be for all players in the game if time was rewound, and forget about how incredibly buggy that would be. There's just no way that its actually true.

Thats not even reasonably possible, and common sense should tell you that.

It is reasonably possible. The spectator system can already re-construct what happens and go back a few seconds at a time. An ability would be a more visually impressive form of that, playing the spectator system in reverse as oppose to jumping backwards.

It's basically a melee Zilean instead of a magic/ranged Zilean using the same mechanic, presumably as an ability and not an ult (for more frequent use). It would make him a constant melee poke/initiator with an effective escape, which LoL is currently lacking.

I assume perhaps they might implement some sort of mark and return thing, seeing as he pulls the cord on his glorified leafblower to start it, perhaps marking where he is and perhaps other champions nearby aswell, and the activation(s) would place himself and maybe others back where he marked them at the beginning?

Itll probably work like weavers ult. Hits it and he goes back 4 seconds. If not itll probably be like chrono sphere where he can go back in a area he controls.
