My Sona:

Sona item 2301 item 3100 item 3020 item 3285 item 3107 item 3174 (Last spot is situational and build variances occur depending on what the team needs, but the first 4 are core for me)

Remember not all supports build alike. Some of us prefer aggressive playstyle. Sona is never my utility support, but part of my AP line with Zyra, Brand, Fiddle, and Velkoz.

That said I love playing utility supports as well. FotM picks in general, whether builds of champions are fine, but plenty of people do things they enjoy.

Additionally item 2301 or item 2302 would improve your build for support Lux. Vision is key to winning, and you're not playing a selfish role when you're support. You're there for the team.
