Now that people are complaining about how mobile and op Leblanc is, just because she can burst mid laners to the ground early game and is relatively safe. Do you remember how ANGRY people were when Riot removed her silence calling her unviable and hopelessly weak without it.

Now that people realize how powerful she is they're like "omg she just insta bursted my at lvl 6, pls nerf." when they were saying quite the opposite before, after she got nerfed. Now she did get some buffs to balance out the silence removal and I find she is in an excellent spot right now. Same thing with Zed, he used to be just a normal assassin until mana regen got nerfed then people are now complaining about his good wave clear and base damage being out of this world. In a game like league of legends when someone is nerfed or something it can make champions stronger and weaker depending on how it interacts with them and there counter picks.

The one thing I would tweak on Leblanc is how short her ults cooldown is. It's too short for someone so bursty, it's like if heimer could upgrade every 20 seconds then imagine how broken he would be. Leblanc isn't broken, she's just too overwhelming if she get's ahead. But her draw back is her mostly singular burst and potentially poor teamfight when focused. But often champions like Lux, Xerath, Brand, Kennen and Katarina can be muchh more useful than Leblanc to the team and also much safer.

TL;DR Stop complaining just because a champion is STRONG because of META changes and try and think of a way of constructively balancing them. Zed isn't broken, he's just great because he can do fairly well against mana dependant mages. Leblanc is situational and can be beaten with smart thinking. Katarina has several weaknesses to exploit, keep cc for her ult. Tryndamere is simply kiting and timing. It's not as hard as you think to beat these champions just don't complain when you die but don't walk into lane thinking you can take them on because you want to. Play safely and wait for a gank or roam.

  1. Leblanc's ultimate was modified after the silence removal so that the damage it dealt depends on the ultimate rank instead of the abilities rank. This means that Leblanc can easily make W for waveclear and mobility without losing damage on her ultimate's Q and makes her skill order more flexible.

  2. People who are content don't tend to whine on the forums, so all you are really seeing is different vocal minorities expressing their discontent. i.e. Group A was complaining that Leblanc was unviable, Group B was complaining that she was overpowered.

  1. Pretty sure he's addressing that minority. I don't think he believes they are a majority. You don't stop teaching because most of the class is finished.

That is wrong. That change happened some time before the silence nerf. What Leblanc got was 20 decreased mana cost on her W at max rank (same at rank 1), an extra second for her second cast of distortion and a decrease on her passives cooldown.

She also recieved some indirect buffs. A nerf to the Holy Grail meant that her opponents can't fit efficient MR into their early builds. That coupled with lower champion base stats in the middle of the game (around level 9) made her mid game power spike enven stronger.

Oh, my mistake then. I thought the kit changes occurred in the reverse order.

They took power from Q and put it in W, That's what brought her back. Before that, She couldn't push worth a shit, that was her main weakness, she couldn't farm well and roam as efficiently as she does now, because she leveled Q first, a single target ability. Now she levels W, which not only reduces the cooldown and thus make her more mobile, it also allows her to waveclear really easily, and then roam.

They also took away the mana cost from her ultimate and buffed W and her passive .-. ... She also had a few other buffs to compensate for the silence removal others here have mentioned. I don't think anyone should look at Le Blanc and say "This is the epitome of a healthy champion."
