Why is my MMR so messed up?

I am gaining +13 per win, losing -26 per loss.

I appreciate if you lose matches that you should have won, your MMR tends to drop and you end up losing more elo than gain etc.

However, I have played 16 games over the past few days, I have won 12, lost 4. So how is my MMR not at least balancing? I appreciate that if I weren't doing well it wouldn't increase but I am consistantly getting A or S ranks, getting positive kdas (even in lost matches), and farming well.

It just seems a bit unfair, yeah you can have days where you do badly which can mess up your MMR but it shouldn't be a permanent hinder to your ranked experience, surely you should be able to pull it back and get to a stage where you gain and loss the same elo depending on whether you win or lose.

op.gg cant see your real MMR, it just guesses.

The change over to the new tiers really messed up the MMRs of some people.

Before the change I was S4 and winning gave ~18lp and losing took ~18lp

After the change Im S4.... and Winning gives me 14-15LP and losing takes 20LP

Now OP.GG said my MMR was S1 so I think the change over took your MMR and not your rank. But its really messed up on a lot of accounts because I was expecting to have more team mates that knew what they are doing but Im getting in almost every match someone who is not even Iron. I mean like full on "Iv only played vs BOTS" kind of players.

It makes dodging VERY important.

Riot said they moved players into divisions where they shouldn't be, so they acknowledge its gonna backfire a little bit either in the game or in the forums. But they don't give a fk anyway so it doesn't matter.
