How exactly did they "nerf" Fiora?

So i was playing some in the toplane vs a and as usuall got ganked couple of times and Riven snowballed and proceeded to shit on me throughout the 1st 15 mins of the game. As the game rolled on i farmed up got some kills of my own and at lvl 18 i basically ulted the riven and she died in like few hits. I even missed my parry like a peasant but it doesnt matter. Massive lifesteal, MS, true dmg and all that shit. So my question is how did they nerf Fiora cuz i feel she is still strong. I main both Fiora and Riven so how do you deal with this champ lategame besides sending 3 ppl toplane to defend. If i play against her what should i pick? Thx [slayer-pantheon-thumbs]

Bramble vest exists.

The fact that the game went on until you were able to get level 18 and a pile of items is entirely the enemy's fault for not closing it out sooner. There's no reason to take that long if you have a big lead.

Seriously, just picking up this one item crushes her so much in lane it is unreal. Even on carries like Rumble this thing will wreck my day.

As mentioned before a lot of champions will shit on her either in lane or in teamfights, and her build is one of the most expensive ones among all champions as you want multiple 3k + gold items in your build, so it's only fair that at full build if she somehow does reach it, she is almost unstopable 1 vs 1. As for laning phase most ranged champions will shut her down, midgame bruisers, like Jax, Trundle, Nasus , Yasuo , Tryndamere will still shit on her, assuming they did not derp in lane. 6 items lategame? The only melee that can beat her at 6 items, is probably 6 items master yi, his dps is too much lategame, and parry doesn't do anything vs him.

walls exist
late game fiora is strong, and even then, she's only good in duels. edit: also, she can only do good if she gets ahead, when behind fiora is pure garbage.
