I don't know. I just don't see any of the "Good" in Zoe.

I'm a stupid bronzie, so like, nothing I write here generally matters unless someone finds merit in what I'm saying. I get it though. She's extremely strong, has the ability to burst people down hence the classification of burst mage but...

What the hell does she even exist for? I won't get directly into the champion's bio or story, but both seem erratic, sloppily thrown together, stringing different interesting concepts together at random to create something, surprisingly, uninspired in any way. Much like her kit.

Warwick: Vengeful werewolf man. His entire kit fits him pretty well. Fizz/Nami: Fish people, there's enough visual effect to give them their feel, as well as decent backstory. Miss Fortune: Highly oppressive bounty huntress. Gameplay exemplifies that.

You get the idea. Most all of the champions fit pretty well in some way shape or form either through their kit and if not, their backstory and personalities. Even Amumu, who, back on the legacy client had a champion description that was a literal ONE LINE. "Sad mummy, doomed to be forever alone." He had some relevance to his kit with the bandages, yadda yadda.

With Zoe, however, we have Aspect of Twilight (The definitions of twilight being between dawn and day/dusk and night, and a second definition of obscurity.) Even though we see pretty much no... design choice to show this in much of any meaningful way. We get a blurb on occasion, but these can't really be considered anything more than "Honorable mentions" at best. Champion model itself is self explanatory.

With her being the Aspect of Twilight, Messenger of Targon, we have... a nuke in the form of a ping-pong ball, Viktor's hijacked machine plus Open Spellbook from the inspiration page, Morgana's giant minion-cock-blockable CC hitbox in the form of a Nami-like bubble, and a form of mobility that doesn't actually work; A dysfunctional mini Ryze Ult, if you will.

Unless she's supposed to be random, which is a poor design choice in general for a game genre structured around solid lore and structured gameplay mechanics, her kit and the entire champion in general just seems to have been thrown together, lopping one idea onto the next JUST for the sake of one unique mechanic, which is her Q, which allows her to throw it in one direction and change it again. Everything else just seems to be... there. Seemingly not for any rhyme or reason whatsoever. This is concerning, considering another company I know of that began designing critters that look like your keychain because they thought it was unique...?

And I refuse to talk about actual gameplay because everything she does is pretty much only for setting up her Q anyway; just adding to my point on the reason someone thought this abomination up.

Unranked scrub here. My theory is because they just thought they need a Disney character sometime soon to exist in the game.
