Taliyah Wall and Caits traps

I wanted to know if it is actually supposed to be a thing where if Taliyah is riding her wall and the wall goes over a cait trap it rips her down off the wall. This just does not make sense to me thematically in any way so I was curious if this was on purpose or just an accidental thing?

well cait does put it on the ground so... it should rise onto the wall. I like this interaction actually lol
