My main issue with ahri

Honestly there are times where i move to avoid ahri's Q but the hitbox is so big it feels like you just can't dodge it, its not always like that but i do tend to feel the hitbox for it is too large, and another problem is if she's a mage/assassin, why does her charm last so long? She shouldn't need such a big window of the opponent being helpless to kill them if she can burst them in half the time the charm last. I understand there are nerfs coming for her already but those two things bother me the most about her spells. maybe make her Charm last 1.5 instead of 2 seconds?

Compared to other mages with aoe cc and much easier to land, ahris charm is easy to dodge. It is single target, duration increases by the number of point added to it. It goes from 1 then 1.25 then so on till it becomes 2 second. With the nerf you are proposing, math wise it will not work unless ahris lvl 1 charm duration is 0.5 second and that is a HUGE nerf. Considering that it is already hard to hit, her charm should not be getting any nerf.

Again Ahri is a burst mage designed to burst but also provide the team utility. Her q is really slow... you shouldnt be complaining about that.

You didn't think about her dueling where she ults towards you for a much harder to dodge charm, yes you can avoid her charm from a distance but it is not as simple when she it right in your face, it is the same concept people complained about with Leblanc E, she dashes right to you chains you and jumps back out of danger, Ahri can ult in, charm throw Q and W and ult back wards in an instant, I know what I'm talking about seeing that i play ahri and used to play her often. A fix to ahri's charm would be to make the duration the same at all ranks.

And once again it is not for the purpose of teamplay, I was talking about her charm in regards to her 1v1 assassin strengths. an assassin should not have such a large window for damage.

Her charm already has quite a low duration for being a single target CC and her ONLY CC.

If an Ahri is bursting you 100-0 from a single charm, you're already massively behind her. They've reduced her burst so much over the years, she really has very little potential to fully burst the average champion. If she's bursting you 60-0, that's your own fault for staying in range with 60% health knowing her ult was up to jump on you.

Side note - If she presses R towards you, gets right in your face.. It's still pretty damn easy to dodge that charm. I mean, I'm a silver player and I dodge that combo nearly every time by simply walking straight left or straight right, when she dives at me.

Side Note - If she does it from outside of your vision yeah it's hard to dodge. That's the point. It's basically all she's got going for her to keep you from just walking out of her damage. The second hit on her Q is a big deal, the charm is her only way to land that hit on a competent player.

1 her charm is not a low duration, you do know that most stuns in the game last around 2 seconds?

2 currently ahri is quite capable of that and that is the point for the boards cry for nerfs, seeing that they already are nerfing her damage. Also she hasn't received one nerf in the past year. If you have to back to fountain everytime you reach a 60% Hp threshold then something is wrong. Champs should not constantly have that much pressure on you, She is extremely mobile and safe with her Q range for easy poke and farming ability. Like i've said i played ahri quite a lot and it's not that hard. She has a very safe laning phase.

3 You should also consider that your rank doesn't matter in everyone's case, the players you come up against in silver are nowhere near the same as those in Plat and above.

You have to max her charm to get 2 seconds. Most of the game is spent with it on a 1 second timer, unless you max it early for whatever reason.

  1. ANY burst champion has that pressure. Most have more pressure. Syndra is gonna wreck you 100-0 if you make one wrong step at the wrong time. Annie, Ori, Zed, Talon.. ANY burst champion really.

Sorry, I'm the type of player that would rather play the game than whine about every little thing the forums find to hate, I guess.

Yes Syndra is currently out of line so of course that is possible, Annie has always been that dumb and never changes with anything in the game where ahri is visibly effected by changes in the game, Orianna is currently debated weather she is broken or not, Zed is not as bad anymore, you also ignored your own point, he will only 100% if he is decently ahead. Talon don't see that often but will most likely remain as a hidden broken champ.

Yes because trying to give feedback on what some players think is unhealthy for the game is a horrible thing to do, therefore the game should NEVER see any change or go anywhere in progress. You are also here on the boards doing the same thing stating your opinion which could in turn affect how the game proceeds in the future, but you want to classify it as people being babies and wasting time.

Charm doesnt need a duration nerf. You have to max it to get to 2 seconds. Only on the last rank is it 2 seconds.
