Tribunal = Failure
I have been a long term player of LoL, I don't claim to be good (let's make that clear) but I have seen the games transition most veteran players I think will share my sentiments. In it's infancy LoL was great and while the community was a bit eh it was still fun to play. Now while the gameplay has remained the same the community has gone from bad to worse and from worse to what it is now. RIOT has tried to curb this negativity and in my opinion has failed miserably. The image that brought this thought to my mind was a "tip" I saw during my loading screen. "Did you know that they tribunal has corrected the attitude of 280,000 players" and I think this is laughable based simply on math. LoL has a daily player base of 27 million people, and a monthly player base of 67 million. Now I know that not every league player is toxic but it's easy to assume 20-30% of players are toxic. Don't believe me? Play a few games and see if my numbers are even a bit low. This means that at any given moment there are approximately 6.75 million "toxic" players that play daily and 280,000 is 4.2% of that are we really to believe the tribunal works? Or has it just made the game that much worse? I don't know, let me know what you think about the effectiveness of it. Just please try to be respectful and not one of the 6.75 million jerks that will be on at some point today.
