A discussion of dragons and dynamic queue (lot of text but worth reading)
So, lets start with dragons. I strongly dislike the direction Riot took with dragons, in that they are no longer the same power level. They are so situational. (ex: in that if my team is ahead we want earth drakes to get towers, baron, elder, and close out game. water is only good early game. Infernal is imo stronger then every other one.) Given that which dragon spawns is pure rng, it leaves a lot of the game up to rng. One game my team could be ahead and we get can secure 3 red drags, and if the game draws on to late game we have a solid advantage, while on the other hand i get 3 water dragons and late game their team comp is better and beats us. Normally, i am fine with getting outscaled and beaten, our fault for not closing out the game, but when if i had got those red dragons instead of water dragons i would have won, i get annoyed that riot invented Elemental dragons. We can look at LCS too to see that red drag is always heavily contested compared to air or water.
Second thing about drags: clearing them. This is less important, but clearing dragons is a big part of the game. it is clear to see that cloud drake is much harder to clear because of its high dps autos. water is second, then infernal, then earth. I can see where riot came from thinking that earth dragon and infernal do area of effect, but in reality the area of effect is so small tat with the slightest move, or simply clearing from 1 person in the back and 1 person in the front i can clear it with the same ease as if it was single target. water dragons crippling autos make up for its slight less dmg compared to wind.
Note: I LOVE elder dragon, beautiful objective that really made me enjoy the game and make it more competitive (with some epic elder steals to boot) tldr: make all dragons give same buffs or balance value better, make them the same easiness to kill.
Now, we come to dynamic queue.
first off, I am fine with dynamic queue, i feel the good weighs the same as the bad. It has let me play ranked with more then just one friend, as well as let me play the role i am good at and that fits my play style. I has let me climb easier, in that i used to have trouble climbing due to other lanes losing. With dynamic, i just friended and played with whoever did good in my last game (after checking their match history) We all won lane more then lost, so together we climbed solidly. I can do that anytime with dynamic.
About boosting, first off, if you are sliver or lower, im sorry to say your opinion on boosting doesnt matter an awful lot. If you get called boosted in silver or bronze, ignore it, the guy who said that is dumb. Second off, ITS NOT LIKE BOOSTING IS NEW. You could easily boost with duo queue, and, in fact, most boosting goes on with 2 people, 1 scrub and 1 god. As for trolling 4-3 man premades in ranked, they are quite rare and have an even chance of being on your or enemy team, but i agree it is a small problem.
Note: i will admit that dynamic queue brought heavy queue times, but im willing to pay it to get the position m good at and can play well. I think banning should be at least 2 people at a time, and faster picking. tldr: dynamic queue is good its goods outweigh its bads
My opinion on the game, i still enjoy playing it.
