Aatrox needs a chance

If you don't agree with my ideas no need to be offensive. I am just trying to figure out what would be best for him that would make him most appealing to me. Coz i play him for me and not for others. If you think some of these ideas below are bad comment of what you would make differently. lets not be people who come here to just down vote and be general "horrible" people who don't want nothing more to make others feel bad so they can feel good them selves. Just ignore them and don't respond to them.

I think that most people by now know what are the main weaknesses he has. So i am not going to retell them again here but get straight to the chances.

The passive first of all lets remove the revive and boost his base stats and the scaling. Make the loss of blood well out of combat longer and resets by using a ability. Give him a passive that gets stronger by killing monsters, creeps, champions for each kill get accordingly 1, 1 and 2 stacks. The amount of stacks is capped so it can't scale infinitely. At reaching x and y amount of stacks he gets a stat boost, armor and magic penetration or some other kind of buff. This would give him another reason to push lane coz right now the main reason to push lane is to get max amount of W procks off to stay at near max hp and keep blood well up. If this is implemented he would get and another reason to push lane to get more stacks. Because pushing lane makes him very vounrable to ganks. This way he could get a bigger advantage from pushing lane. This would balance out some what the risk of pushing lane and the reward from pushing lane.

His Q make it to a dash that slows in an AoE or a slow on hit that can hit multiple people and can go thru units. On hit you get a some hp back from the initial cost. Reduce the cd. Up one a kill with in x amount of time the skill would reset with no or 1/2 the cost. On hit reduces the cd and the cost for x amount of time. (More people hit more hp refunded to the max amount hp lost)

His W blood thirst lower the % when he gets the double heal and increase the heal that is above the % and increase the scaling by x amount. W blood price life steal would cancel some of the hp cost that takes to cast the ability, increase the scaling. (He gets stacks from last hitting with the W prock ether one.) Give his blood thirst a bonus heal on the amount of % hp missing.

His E increase the scaling. Make it ably armor and magic shred that stacks up to x amount and gets the duration reset with aa's. Make it a aa reset. Hitting the enemy refunds some of the hp lost. (More people hit more hp refunded to the max amount hp lost)

His R chance the AoE magic damage to make it empower the the W for x amount of dmg/heal. Kills reset the duration.

Increase the normal aa range longer.

These chances are focused around Aatrox's W. All these chances are for making the W his main dmg source more effective. In my opinion i think he's chances should be centered on making his W more effective and the center of his character.

Some things sound over the top, especially when comboed all in the same kit, however I like the general direction you suggest.

  • Passive: The revive works well on Aatrox since he's able to heal after reviving and perhaps win the fight. I also dislike the capped stacking mechanic altogether, it's not that good a mechanic.

  • Q: I like the idea of a pass-through dash that resets on units killed, it could be very nice to use it to harass in lane and simultaneously kill a minion with it, so you can dash back out. What I don't like is that Aatrox loses his only form of hard CC, which is necessary in duels for gaining a couple of precious seconds to heal with W. Adding a knockup to it would be bad, though, imagine a resetting knockup. D:

  • W: I'm not sure about lowering the % under which he gets double healing. However I like the idea of increasing the scaling so that he works better with buying AD and attackspeed. Gaining a stack upon killing a unit is also a really good idea, I love it. :D

  • E: I also like the increased scaling, however the defense shred might be a bit OP. Also, I don't like how he can cancel all of his costs by hitting several units. He shouldn't be able to skip the costs on his main laning abilities just by spamming them on minions, they have costs so that he will heal back up with W. He needs to be gated in some way other than cooldowns.

  • R: I'm not sure what you implied about the magic damage, however I like the idea of empowering his W and the duration increasing on kill -- however it'd be too OP if it buffed both the damage and heal from W, and also duration reset is too strong. Maybe add 3 seconds per kill to it?

His passive needs to be reworked not sure what they could do to fix that, but your idea isn't bad since there are a good amount of champions that get stacks. Then I think if they reworked his W they could leave everything else the same. They could turn into another passive like Varus so they can give him attack speed and make the heal scale off of AD/AP. That way the speed makes up for the active W and building AP will give him extra life steal and make people build more AP for his ult. I know it normally doesn't work like that but I think it could be a fast easy fix, but then again I don't main Aatrox
