Incase you get downvoted to oblivion. let me first tell ya that there are a large number of folks super upset about his R, they hold that he is OP GG OP FREE LP. I Personally disagree and think he is a strong champion when mastered but ultimately has a decent amount of counter play and with a bit more time folks will have learned his kit and adapted. His W into stun can be nifty and the rebond sheilds a cool mechanic. Heals not the best but its still a heal which is nice. New passives situational useful. All in all pretty happy and he is more fun to play as/vs.

I have very limited experience with the new Taric, but from what I see he is loaded with a crap-ton of counter-playable utility

his R takes forever to ramp up. you can't just say "adc in trouble invuln her" it takes like 2 seconds before it triggers so you have to like... use it agressively... and his stun is very hard to land and barely stuns for any time length.

Once lvl'd (which should be maxed first) its stun duration is just as long as any other lvl 5 ability. Yes compared to point and click its clunky but his new kit can cover massive area's and hit multiple ppl and it does very good damage. His ult takes some getting used to but is one of the best utility ults in the game, pair it with kindred and its busted as fuck. And if you don't like him as support I find him to be fantastic in the top lane.

I used to play Taric all the time.

I have not played new Taric but he (seems) very much stronger than before.... old Radiance and (active) Shatter were such garbage .... the new versions are infinitely better. The only downside is his passive seems weaker and he is slightly less tanky than before, but overall way more utility.

his stun is fine. his w is underpowered. (the shield part. and the aura for 1 person instead of whole team).you can remove his heal and i wouldnt even know considering how pathetic it is. his ult however is indeed really strong and i like it.

old taric was the opposite. had ridiculous heal. strong armor aura. point and click stun but the stun wasnt as strong in more situations like team fights. and ult was okay but this one is a lot stronger.

the new one feels good to play. old one was clunky tbh.
