AFK/DC related losses.

I enjoy this game quite a lot, I've played almost 6 years or so at this stage, never took the game too seriously until Season 3 and even then it only got more serious as the years went on, and now when I'm trying as hard as I can to improve and do the best I can do in games, I'm left with one thing that really impedes me besides the limits that are imposed by other players being simply better than me at certain things, and myself just not thinking properly, I'm thinking of a big problem that is complained about constantly yet never really addressed properly, and that problem I'm thinking about leads to one single question; Riot Games, why haven't you made a loss prevented system for AFK's and DC's? I ask this because I'm tired of trying to get anywhere in the game when I have to deal with both people who do badly - intentionally or not - and then make the team pay for it through a lack of willingness to get better or to be civil to their teammates, or people who disconnect/afk in games and make me pay for it.

What's the point of trying to climb if it's beyond irritating to deal with both a skill roadblock, a fixable one no doubt, but on top of that, a roadblock that is impossible to predict and prevent, which leads me to believe that trying hard no matter what will not always yield success, especially in the fact of circumstances beyond my control?

And yes, I've won games that aren't in my favour before, both on the feeding - intentionally or not - and the afk/dc side of things. But it's incredibly disheartening to try my hardest to win games only to have every other game where I win combatted with these sorts of games. The feeding one isn't quite anything that's fixable, it's merely an irritating addition to the big problem.

There is nothing that compensates players for being affected by an AFK or a DC, absolutely nothing. No loss prevented system, no LP loss reduction, no nothing. And it's laughable that I even try in Ranked games considering these sorts of things happen extremely frequently in this game. Not every game, that'd be stupid to say, but every other game and it's beyond irritating.

I'm sure a thousand threads have been made like this but it is an issue that NEEDS to be addressed and I have no idea why it hasn't been at least once by now.
