Viktor,Malaz or Brand
Hi guys,
I need a new mid lane Mage and I am currently stuck between Viktor,Malaz or Brand I really like Viktor and I can play him but I need your thoughts on the other champs as well

Malz melts tanks, brand is good in teamfights but takes a bit more skill landing skillshots, and Viktor is probably the strongest of the 3 but I am guessing he will be getting nerfs sometime soon.

Viktor = 1v5, Malz = His just like talon, he goes in and does 1 job and then his done. Brand = If you have faith in your teammates pick this champ, His ridicously strong but not strong like vik.
Malz is extremely fun to play. Easy to pick up but takes a lot of practice to get REALLY good. LAnding his Q can be tough, but is extremely powerful. Pushing down waves just by dropping Malefic Visions on it and having a Voidling around is extremely fun, and harassing enemy laners almost by accident is hilarious. Add to the fact his ult is one of the most satisfying in the game, AND one of the strongest, especially against people who LOVE their mobility (AKA basically everyone these days)
You haven't lived until you've landed a Q on a LeBlanc returning to her blink point, and just locked her face down entirely and watched her health just get sapped away. So satisfying.
What about xerath guys? He seems fun too?

What kind of play style do you enjoy, in general I think Viktor is the most consistent of the ones you listed with the most viable build paths to choose from depending on what you need in a particular game. Do you need utility rush hex core upgrades, do you need waveclear go full cdr, do you need straight damage, rush rabadons and void staff.
Brand has higher damage potential at the cost of being less consistent and he is easier to gank, Malzahar bullies in lane better but his teamfight can be much weaker, I also happen to find him extremely boring to play as and against but thats just my opinion.

Malzahar is has gotten quite a bit stronger with the new AP item changes, the updated Liandry's and Rylai's can make his Malefic Visions ridiculously strong.
