What if smite was optional on junglers?

So jungle monsters will have to be easier to kill in general, and smite would be used for faster clear and better objective control. Junglers will be able to take things like ghost/flash, exhaust/ghost, or exhaust/ignite for better ganks, if they can clear well.

I think this may help with jungle diversity, and solve the "jungler forgot smite" issue.

junglers would still take smite 100% of the time, as faster clear speeds mean's more ganks more xp more gold and more wins.

As long as smite exists, it will be mandatory for objective control. If your jungler doesn't take smite, you will lose every single baron, dragon, and rift herald as well as any buffs/camps that the enemy jungler contests instantly.

"Jungler forgot smite" is not a RIOT issue and is solved by people paying attention.
