So I hear all this talk about Zed being too much

Why not just take Riven mid lane and destroy him? I guess she takes more to learn than most champs, but once learned she obliterates Zed. And if more people answered Zed picks in this manner I would be willing to bet we'd see a lot less of him,

What do you mean "destroy him"?

If he can't annihilate you, he can casually CS perfectly under tower with his passive, can't he?

Isn't that the point? He forces you into a "I snowball or we both AFK farm, period." position. Riven just makes him choose to AFK farm and then splitpush like crazy.

And that's assuming you destroy him anyway. If he gets 1 kill ahead of you, picks up an early brutalizer or Cutlass, gets a bunch of armor pen (which is his core) . . . then what do you do about having a melee, AD midlaner instead of much-needed long-ranged AP damage + waveclear?

I take it you don't play Riven.. You can dive him at like level 8 if he's still hiding (assuming you have cdr, but why wouldn't you, you're Riven) beat his ass, then leave.

Edit: to answer your question; the same thing they do about having an AD melee midlaner.

Or he can ult you once you dive him, then shadow over the wall beside the tower? And if you catch up, he has 2 shadows to port back to while the tower beats down on you?

Zed sucks late-game though, he's just really good at acquiring advantages

Or with MonkeyKing I love when the Zed ults and then i just press W at the right time and juke him out.

Of course, provide an answer to the Zed problem and these kids just want to throw out hypothetical ways he would live and downvote away. He's never gonna get nerfed, so you're wasting your time crying instead of adapting.

Nope, the problem is that nobody actually wants to beat Zed in lane, they just want him nerfed. 2 very viable strategies were posted here and you just continue to throw out "but but, he can shadow". Of course he can, and if his damage is somewhat lower is he gonna not be able to do that? Also, not once have I stated an opinion on him for you to disagree to... so there's that.

You didn't post any viable strategies to beat him. You posted a possible strategy to survive him.

Flip the coin. Take Bjergsen. What if you asked him, "if you were Zed mid, which is considered the only safe first-pick midlaner in the LCS, and the enemy locked in Riven against you, how would you play?"

What do you think he would say? Do you think he genuinely wouldn't have solutions? Do you think a good Zed seriously can't out-poke, out-sustain, and out-cs riven, all while denying her kills, then assassinate her if the jungler ever comes by?
