Team Tanks = Win? Various Other Issues

So... been thinking. Hazardous to my health I know. Has anyone noticed that league has become a tank game with maybe 1 bursty DPS on a team?

I think that league should reincorporate the Bloodrazer to summoners rift. Or at least something very similar, to deal %enemy hp damage. This way armor and magic resist become more of a key factor instead of simply building uber amounts of hp and then letting the one dps on the team obliterate through the pure crowd control.
As it is right now once tanks get decently set for items which doesnt take too long especially if they have a heavy dps in their lanes. They are pretty much unkillable till the game gets to end game stats. Even then though the crowd control + the damage they can still bring to the table are far tipped in their favor.
Now I don't know if all players in the game here have submitted to this kind of treatment and simply started playing more tanky champs but I have to protest this. It's no longer fun if the selection of champs forces you to exclusively play heavier defensive champs. That cuts the vast majority of champions out of the selection process. Back in season one sure there were problems in and of itself however tanks weren't so solid of a wall. They were still annyoing to deal with but they weren't gods of defense till one heavy dps champ strolls in from the enemy base laughs and then blows us all apart. Aside from season one being the beginning it was the absolute most fun there has ever been in league. The dodge mechanics made it so heavy dps champs wouldnt simply stroll up and hit you twice and move on instead it gave a fighting chance assuming you were able to dodge at all. Madred's Bloodrazor made it possible to kill tanks instead of just flicking their nose and run away dying half the time. Movement speed in season one was also different just for example I ran with 2 phantom dancers and movement quints and I was just slightly slower or equal to most champs. Critical Strikes are also a thing of the past unless you sacrifice your rune page for a crit damage page. Now the sacrifice of having a higher damage vs Lower damage + Crits and Atk Speed isn't worth anything anymore. Granted it was jax I played but even after the dodge nerf on phantom dancers and even after he lost his old unique passive. I still played no boots, two phantom dancers and movement quints. Now that jax' stun is no longer as effective as it was, coupled with the fact that crit chance + atk speed is no longer applicable against pure damage or tank for that matter. Personally I can no longer play my absolute favorite champion. On top of that Jax used to be able to go in any lane and be able to play the game. Now he's been demoted heavily to pretty much exclusively jungle. And I know people are gonna read this and say that he can still top lane but my answer to that is, there are SOOO many better top laners than jax. When was the last time you saw a jax top lane. I haven't seen one in forever sure I haven't played much recently but that's cuz of work and that I'm finding league less appealing each day when the whims of professional are the only things being looked at seriously and the "rest of the world" the larger portion of the gaming comunitee is being squashed beneath Professional feet. I'd say let dota 2's pro gaming w.e they are doing go on and then have league come back and hit them hard after a good long rework so that this game is balanced again. No offense Riot, you guys are doing a great job it's just the majority is getting forgotten whereas singular pros are being hand fed. No offense to you either pros I love watching your games but it's only you guys upstage and only you guys playing. Every year its the same teams. No real change. Sure that may mean your good, but that also means your the only ones garnishing any attention. How the game is being changed and modified to help you further your career causes the rest to suffer in the ripples of your wake. Then there are the smurf accounts. It's obvious to me that there are no longer anymore new gamers, and if there are they are very few and far in between. I can't play as much anymore due to work but when I do play I see this profile level 10 - 15 doesn't matter anymore what number it is, completely obliterating some new players that I spectate often when they want alternate opinions of how they played. Even when I play is end up seeing a lvl 13 or so in a 30's match and they completely obliterate the team I'm in, so it asks the question what happen to the new players that are supposedly coming in all the time. Sure forcing new players to play bots helps but that only goes so far. Unless they are seriously ambitious they stay in bot matches. When they play a single normal match they then realize the gap between pro smurfs, normal people, and themselves. After playing bots till whatever level it is now the bot mechanics are subconsciously imprinted in their head. Bots actually dive or something similar to diving where its close enough to initiate get a kill and come out nearly unhurt. The bots give the chance to kill them and after a few games people start realizing that so they take advantage of it. Which if its a smurf and they take advantage of it it's dissatisfying for some players because they didn't feel as though they did anything and THAT plants the seed to not wanted to play the game. Then they play that game of normals when they first can like I said earlier BOOM the seed starts to grow and they slowly stop playing. Simply put bots can take you only so far, smurfs interfere and you don't learn what you should have and you rise to the normal matches and find that you can't play at it's level, then you drop back down into the land of the smurfs and you almost never get the chance to learn cuz the smurfs take over the map.

In short: New people either don't play or can't play. Smurfs are Leagues gaming comunitee so the new player count is drastically less than it seems. Tanks (PLURAL) Having 2 to 4 tanks in a team is the only way to win consecutively. Items need to be incorporated or adjusted to re balance the tank game. People can't play what they want in terms of champion sets. Frustration at losses cause players to stop playing for the day due to high blood pressure and more and more rage. Fun has nearly been removed, now its a rage game.

Players of league please take note.
Except all the trolls that I assume will make comments the moment they bother reading this short story. Please keep them to yourself. (Then again the only people that read forums are Veteran players that will discount everything said, and riot staff)

Blade of the ruined king deals 8% of targets current hp, and has an active that steal 10% of max hp and steals movespeed.

Also, paragraph breaks. They're saving the world.

You lost me when you started advocating for dodge.

And Bloodrazor wouldn't have any impact on what you describe, especially since Blade of the Ruined King is a streamlined version of it.

Welcome to League Of Legends where Rito says deal with it or fuckin' quit cuz as Fearless put it in the sona rework thread "We're the devs we will ignore whatever feedback we please and do what we please cuz LoL is our game"
