So I saved up 6300 IP and I really want to buy Kalista. The only off-putting thing is her win rate. Is she a good pick with enough skill, or has she fallen out of the meta?

Is she a good pick to get out of Bronze? Im still a scrub but this is my first season.

If you are wanting a champ to get out of bronze play Annie Heimerdinger Janna Source is personal experience, I tried for a long time to get out of bronze, and then I switched to the above and did it within a week.

I think the meta is not good for her at the moment, but she's still fun and you can win games with her

shes worth getting. My friend and I went kalista blitz last night and he had 10 kills coming out of lane, if blitz its grab then uses knock up is pretty much a kill for kalista with her attack speed plus rend

From a plat3 player- I think she's good, i've seen kalistas carry a single game because of how strong they are. However, she requires a VERY good player, so unless you're a veteran with her, or pro, she won't be great.

Do you know how many games it would take to be decent? I played her on free week and shes at least very fun.

I don't recommend Kalista, because she will destroy your wrists... She is fun, but it's not worth it to have health problems, because of too much clicking.

Ok, so speaking as a Diamond ADC main, Kalista is a strong, mechanically intensive champion. She has great carry potential, great kite, and a very very useful ultimate. On the other hand, she IS kind of hard to play (although that is somewhat true for any ADC).

As a general rule in league, you should get whoever you have fun with. Whether you have fun playing Zed or Yorick, you should play the champ you enjoy. There are people with very good winrates on "bad" champs, just cause they enjoy them and like playing them.

If you find Kalista fun, get her!
