Can't login in new client

I have changed my password multiple times so I know its not an issue there. I just cant login to my account through the client! A message pops up whenever I try to load the client that says "an error has occurred. We patched the client to a previous version. Now updating..." But it doesn't update or patch.

Help/advice appreciated!

Having the same issue myself. i lost lp bc bugsplat, try to relog, "username password incorrect." i was 1 game from silver 1 promos. thanks riot.

I have had exactly the same issue today. How come they don't fix this yet. This is the second times they fuck up my ranked promo's.

Fix for the issue: Copy your league of legends folder files onto a new folder on your desktop, uninstall the game, start reinstall process, then close league and paste files back in. Fixed the issue for me and was faster than a full reinstall.
