Tribunal in Recess

The tribunal has been down, from what I know since I tried to use it, for over 4 months. I don't see the point in having it if it is never available. My last game I had someone intentionally feed 0/30/2 in a ranked game. This isn't the first time I have had to deal with people like this either. Is this ever going to be fixed?

The Tribunal has been down for several months. Currently Riot is trying to design a replacement for it. In the mean time, we have the automated chat restrictions.

oh boy, someone feeds 0-30 and they get their CHAT REVOKED?

OH NOES I feel soooooo sorry for them.

Sarcasm aside, that's not fixing anything. You can still troll silently.

Oh, I agree with you that it doesn't solve the problem. Just wanted to clarify.

They are handing out two week bans like candy why are you saying people that feed 0/30/0 only get chat bans.... how uninformed the community is unbelievable.....

The tribunal has been removed permanently and replaced with automated chat bans.

They're also creating an automated system to detect leavers, afkers, trolling, etc. It and the chat bans will be separate.

And it will go live in 2027.

Riot are also working on automated systems to detect feeders, afks, and leavers.

Sadly, these player behaviour initiatives take a very long time, and we're stuck with the toxicity for the moment (especially on non-NA servers, which don't even have the new preliminary automated ban systems in place yet.)

You can do it, but there's a lot of people going to be unintentionally barred from playing. How do you prove they're not on a public internet such as hotel wifi, coffee shop, university, etc?

They're working on a system to detect these kinds of people, and the bans are going to be harsher from what they've been saying. Akin to how the chat bans were harsh for toxic people in chat.
