Recently I've been thinking on some advice I was given. "Choose to main a champ that can be used in 2-3 lanes." Taking this to heart, I decided that once I get back on league I will try to main brand. I've seen him being used as a support and mid. I feel like I could also play him top-tank Mage. Heck, I've even seen him jungle to some effectiveness.
That being said, what are some other good champs to consider that have this type of versatility?
Dark Nephthys2 votesThey'res to many to name, but I'll try to name most of them. Honestly, most Mages can be played as support, though I'd only do it as a support if your adc is your friend. A decent amount of junglers can be played in top lane as well. Also as for Mages going top, my friends and I all think that out of the normal mid lane mages, only mages who build RoA should be able to go top. Obviously mages who are normally top laners are alright for top as well. Also sorry for the weird format, I didn't want to just have all of the champions create a long post so I put most of them in a 2 per line like this.

Fondling Gems1 votesThen def Naut as Potato said, Even with 2 nerfs to his e in a row he still does a lot of dmg and is my most played champ. He is best sup and top but also JGls very well. Cho is a bit tricky to learn but he can top jg and mid. Ekko is a bit of a more dmg and mobility oriented champ who fits the same roles as Cho. Corki for mid/adc. Galio isn't in a bad spot and he works Top Mid or Sup, and if you do play him, don't feel that you need to stack mr, He does very good even if you stack armour. Rumble can Top or Jg (even mid into certain matchups), finally Trundle can sup, jg, or top.

He has more CC than many supports and with a Kalista, who does more damage with the support attacking, Ekko can engage HARD, burst whoever he runs into, and disengage, THEN ult to re-engage for the kill. Also, tank Ekko with relic shield since he is in fact melee.
The reason Ekko doesn't show up as a support much is because of the same reason you don't see much of Lux support, which is that it feels wrong to absolutely murder the enemy ADC as a support, and that it is occasionally frowned upon to do so....
Fondling Gems2 votesYes however due to it being very uncommon I consider it a niche pick, and I put a disclaimer at the end stating that those were just the more common roles that you see the champs in. (I based this off of how likely I felt you were to get flamed for picking the champ in that role)
Elindiir1 votesStrong point there. I also have a habit of playing strange picks like Leona JG, which plays a LOT like Amumu, except with saltier enemy midlane Zeds.

That includes playing AP Vayne support, and vayne is my worst champ (Still got my adc fed) I just figured that any champ you want to main first is probably something you don't want to get beat down for playing.

Fondling Gems1 voteschecked match history, wasn't really full AP, just bought spooky ghosts because that was when they were super broken. Got black cleaver for armour shred and a mallet to peel for my adc. Was working towards a runnans for hitting multiple people

A lot of the tankier junlgers like 
, etc., can handle top or jungle but you have to know how to and be willing to build tanky at least some of the time if you plan to do this.

Also, She has the knockup and good early damage. Plus, with tremor sense, she always knows where you are.
She also has infinite poke with her prey seeker.

Please don't support RekSai. I've seen it and it was horrible.

Elindiir1 votesAn all-for-one Kayle is a legit team comp... Kayle can be an AD Carry, a Teamfight Mage, a Bruiser, and a Support... And function in all lanes... However, she is not a master in anything except pissing off Zed with invulnerabilities, which is hilarious to see.... OH Zed ulted? SHIELD!!! NOPE!
She can also apply it to someone else getting Zed ulted, which makes her really good at denying Zed kills out of lane by following him.
