How the hell are you suppose to play against Akali if your pink wards don't even reveal her?

Are you suppose to pop red trinkets every time you want to trade with her just so it reveals her outlines?

Shroud has a long cooldown, and she's revealed when she attacks. Attack her and shoot skillshots at her when you can see her.

Against Akali, and every other assassin, your job is not to beat them, it's to survive them. Their kits and rotations are objectively stronger early on, but they scale like ass. Survive their early game, and they will be useless in teamfights.

When Akali drops her shroud, run away. You aren't supposed to win that fight. It's like Yasuo's Windwall. Force her to use it, back off, and come back while it's down.

No it's called AOE her Shroud, i don't understand how people still haven't figured this out yet. If you don't have AOE then just walk away from the shroud and don't fight. You don't have to get kills to win the lane, I don't see why everyone is so gung-ho to fight. I don't know why you are so salty about it either she gets hard countered by just about anyone who out ranges her.

Counter-picking is not counter-play. Two very distinct things. And leaving the shroud doesn't mean much when she has three dashes anyway.

I don't understand how people still haven't figured out that saying "you should've counterpicked" in a game with random pick order isn't a defense of broken champs they like.

akali isn't broken. Are you feeling okay? She's literally one of the worst champions right now after she got completely gutted.

The shroud is a broken ability. It's the entire reason she has to have such other hefty feast-or-famine style and isn't allowed to have too many other strengths.

You seem to be misunderstanding the difference between broken and overpowered. They aren't the same thing, either.

You seem to be misunderstanding the difference between broken and overpowered. They aren't the same thing, either.

her shroud was broken when it gave true stealth under turrets. It's really not anymore. I'd be really surprised if she doesn't get more buffs soon.

Even if this guy has false points, her design is broken for an assassin. I'm too lazy to explain it, but to sum it quickly.

An assassin shouldn't have a core ability that is a defensive ability.

She legit isn't broken. She has no healing at all Early game and drops off SUPER HARD late game. The only way she WINS per say is by getting massively ahead early. You stop her from doing that and she is useless all game unless she gets lucky and you misplay around her and give her a free cleanup kill. You actually don't even need to counter pick her that was the point of my argument. AOE is very strong against her but if you don't have it just bait out her shroud and boom its down for 21 Seconds at rank 1 only dropping to 13 at rank 5. A good Akali will max this second so you have until level 13 or so before she starts having it up super often. You can't call something broken because you refuse to play around their power windows.

I really wish anyone complaining about her could just ... play against a good player on the old Akali and see how much worse that shroud was.

Galio W in the moddle of the donut. Either she evacuates or gets taunted, either way your MR+shield negates any damage she can do to you and her shroud is useless.

Don't trade while shroud is up. Force her shroud out and then just back away. After that you have like 20 seconds or something dumb where she shroud is on CD.

My point exactly. The other thing is if she chooses to keep pushing into you then low and behold we can see her and fight again.
