Anyone reason why jayce still played but not quinn in competitive proplay? Even after the lethality nerfs Jayce is still picked? Why?

The accelerated shotblasts chunking half of the ADC's health from Fog of war without having to get into melee range is a significant factor.

He also has a mana regen passive on hammer form, and better AoE damage tools for laning phase. He also offers some teamwide speedboost with his gate, which is a minor but not irrelevant thing.

The only thing Quinn offers teamcomps that Jayce doesn't is her ult mobility. Kled's ult is just better though, and survives laning phase in toplane much better.

but what are the factors that prevent quinn to be picked in proplay atm? The things Jayce has that makes him still viable.

Jayce has better range, waveclear, poke, and on overall better laning phase. Lucian mid/top is also significantly stonger than her earlier on when it matters right now.

What changes does she need to become viable again in competitive play?

Probably a passive buff, or an Ult-Arrowstorm buff. Other than that it's items. She's a marksmen, but has in the past built like an assassin. Her build likely needs updated/tuned as well, depending if the assassin playstyle still is suitable on her.

If her passive had some sort of Crit chance scaling, it might push her to being an option. Or a Lethality scaling on her Arrowstorm to move towards the assassin side.

what u mean by crit chance scaling and push her being an option?

Something like passive damage being able to crit (at reduced % scaling with level) or dealing more damage based on Quinn's Crit chance. Push her to being a viable option is what I had meant.
