Varus changes

Varus' passive is currently a bit underwhelming since to activate it you need to kill an enemy, making it one of the few steroids that is useless in a 1v1 duel, his W being a passive effect with no active presents an opportunity for a QoL buff to his kit. his current passive could be replaced with his W, the scaling could be swapped to a per level amount, and his W would be similar to his current passive but would allow him to activate the bonus attack speed when needed rather than after and also making his kit a bit more coherent.

Props to ShakySurgeon (NA) for the original idea.

Riot already said they don't want to give Varus an on-demand AS steroid, because too many ADCs have one.

I'd rather see Varus get a new active on W that does something more interesting with Blight. Maybe nerf opposing damage based on number of Blight stacks? Seems fluffy and would give him a tool for the whole getting dived thing he has going on.

It would probably be better for him in the end, but it would just be another "turn on attack speed" active. I'd rather his passive just ramp up like Jinx's Pow-Pow and scale off of level.

Two autos to ramp up and last for 3 seconds at like 10/20% lvl 1, 20/40% lvl 6, 30/60% lvl 11 etc., whatever the numbers, is the same thing but leaves his kit the same and actually makes his passive do SOMETHING

Then it's just MF's W or trist's Q. Boring.

Give Varus the ability to detonate 3-stacks of Blight with his Auto-Attacks when he's in 'just killed a champion' mode. That would cement him really well as the go-to snowball in a fight champion.

He would start off the fight with the usual three shots and a skill rotation and then once his Innate pops he goes all Living Vengeance on whoever is left alive.

I love Varus, I really wish he wasn't so irrelevant as an adc. He can't stand up to the better adcs especially in ranked games. I wish he was better, I think he could use some buffs so that he can stand up to other adcs.

far from irrelevant, he just isn't used because he doesn't have a dash to get out. You just need to protect him more than others. other than that one factor that decides the fate of a meta adc, he has great poke with full damage to anything hit, waveclear is decent currently with the passive. has a slow, and has a way to possibly stun an entire team with an ult.
