If i didn't had a bad time with Aatrox top until now...
... wait until Jax/Irelia/Hecarim/Trundle & all new Trinity abusers will become meta on top lane-again with the latest changes.
... then we have Pantheon/Olaf/Darius/Garen with reduced cost of Black Cleaver. Basically The Black Cleaver has a 101% gold efficiency at a 3100 gold cost, meanwhile the usually first items of Aatrox like Ravenous Hydra is around 96% @ 3500g, while the "tank-buster" Botrk is ABSOLUTELY TRASH/GARBAGE with a 76% gold efficiency. I don't even mention if they are going after Sunfire Cape first item that basically makes Aatrox useless, considering the fact he usually don't build ARP.
... then, the only META picks Aatrox was doing decent on top lane was Maokai/Ekko. Guess what, they both got nerfed, so chances are pretty low we'll se those match-ups again on top lane.
So, basically everything that already counters Aatrox hard will become back in meta harder than ever.
Not that this matters anymore anyway, i think we all got pretty used for Aatrox to be thrown in the garbage can. Until now Riot had the "Aatrox is in the ~50% winrate bracket, so it's okay" argument. I guess they'll have to ditch that one and find another soon after 6.11 patch.
This is just to show you the Murphy's law exists even in LoL.
