Help farming the jungle with Shyvana

Okay, so I've played several bot games to practice Shyvana, but I always feel like I don't have ult up at the right time, or that I should hit level 6 sooner. Then there is a problem where I die to a camp early.

Going to give you some basic routes/Tips

Hunters machete is better when taking down more AOE camps.

Skill order E W Q

For a Blue side start open... Blue > 2 little wolves > Raptors > Red At this point you will be 3 . You can go Krugs or gank then scuttle. IF the enemy is contesting the Scuttle you are at, just take the other. Lastly if you want to rush 6 do a full clear after your first recall starting from gromp and gank and try to find a lane that needs help being pushed for a recall or gank. You will get 6 before the next buffs re-spawn.

Red start Red>Krugs>Raptors> Blue > Scuttle You can then gank or clear wolves based and prepare for round 2 taking all the camps again. General tips are the same as blue side at this point.

How to conserve HP. Kite Buffs: Kitting camps allows you to retain small amounts of HP consistently. Weave your AA between stepping back.

Wolves: Hit the little ones 2 times then let W finish them off while kiting and AA the large wolf. This is the best way to clear this camp. (Note do not clear the big wolf lvl 1 on the blue start)

Gromp: cannot be kited so the damage you take is constant. However I'd avoid this camp 90% of the time early as it's value is negligible.

Raptors: 2 AA and your W should kill a small raptor. E makes it faster Always take down 2 while kiting the camp before focusing the large raptor. It will save tons of HP.

Krugs: The medium krug can be kited around the larger one. When fighting the large krug simply walk back and forth not allowing the medium krug to hit you until the large one is dead. Again this saves about 70-100 HP

Hope this helps.

What runes are you using? Do you have a normal path you usually take ? It's not uncommon to powerfarm til 6 on shyv so you should hit 6 before TOO long and since your ult doesn't have a normal cooldown, it should be up after just a couple camps every time you use it.

I took press the attack, triumph, L: Alcracity, Coup de grace. Celerity and waterwalking. And I start at red, then krugs. If I can I try to also take raptors. If not I try to get scuttle.

Gold is an issue for me and I seem to not be tanky enough.

Don't forget to kite the buffs. 3 autoattacks (with a spell between, once you hit level 2), then take a step back, 3 attacks, step back. This way, you trade 2 of the buff's attacks for 3 of your own, rather then the 1 to 1 you'd take normally.

Bot games are awful practice for jungling as you're never vs another jungler and I think camps give less xp. No jungler will continuously clear. Camps will level up when they respawn (to the average level in the game?) and murder you if you don't have items

Use practice tool! You can practice clearing without a leesh from bot lane

Generally you need to kite camps (basically auto->walk back so the camp walks to you and doesn't continue attacking->walk back->same again) when your abilities go on cooldown so that you don't take damage for free while waiting in auto animations that deal little dmg. You want to save hp so that you're more healthy to do ganks. If you're doing a camp then intending to back and want to kill it ASAP, then facetank it all you want to kill it fast

Always auto->Q or auto->E on shyvana, probably E first so that you can get 2 E's on a camp
