I finf the Grounded effect is way too strong

I think the grounded effect is a good idea, make champs unable to dash, being pulled, blink... But seriously this effect is simply way too strong. It completely ruins the pleasure to play, and there's no way to cancel it. Cassiopeia's w should only grant grounded and no slows, it's a torture to get away from it and even if you're trying to get away, Cassiopeia can easily kill you while you can't even escape. Please nerf it Riot, increase the cd of the spell or remove the slow, do something, at least make the effect still allow to use flash. It's impossible to play against that.

impossible to play against? how do you think immobile champions feel having to play against dashes?

everything needs counterplay, and dashes didn't have any until rework poppy and rework cassio.

The slow decays pretty fast and the fact that it has a set cast range that can't be altered and usually forces her to catch up to the enemy makes up for the effect of it.

I love the grounded and slow. It's unique and makes sense.

It's better than a snare, which would make her easy to play and wouldn't make sense.

You should know that Cassiopeia is a mid-range caster / mage with no mobility. This is her only defensive spell next to her ultimate.

And, unlike Annie or Anivia, she does not have burst damage.

I think it's okay.

Wow someone is crying about a champion who is effectively a counter to a major champion populace that relies on dashes and constantly dominates matches due to insane dashing, diving and cheese methods, ESPECIALLY in regular matches where plenty of players are not some pro level competitive team who train to be able to ruin clowning around champions(Like Yasuo and Akali) via skill and not have to rely as much on champion mechanics or itemization to do the deed. If they were to nerf grounding then they would need to nerf all insane dash champions such as Akali and Yasuo (ESPECIALLY THOSE 2) to even the playing field, when already immobile 'squishie' champions like mages and marksmen get utterly popped on because those kind of champions get insane capability to juke you if you have no skill shot to fire into akali's stealth field(where your still shooting ducks blindfolded via using it) or even non projectile skill shots to not have it constantly be clowning around denied by wind wall, resolve shield and powerful mobility that makes Yasuo trade stats for overpowered gimmicks.

This isn't even counting the fact that Grounded is only Cassiopeia's gimmick, outside of her Q movement empowered, she pretty much has not much for chase measures and her W acts as that snare to shut down mobile champions who 'are picked in matches when not banned oten by some so-called main Yasuo/Akali players because of the scummie mechanics' or players who play that champion all the time as if they are one trick ponies just use the lazy style of running in, hit the enemy champion, run out and keep doing it till you are ready to just dive and erase and have no mana issues to prevent you from doing it and end up having the enemy champion be able to just heal it back up over time before they try it again.

Really i would say any energy based or even resourceless champions in general should ultimately be stuck to a 1 role niche and they don't have silly dual role styles. If Akali is a assassin she is played as a assassin, not a assassin who can also tank. If Yasuo is a fighter then he should be fighting only as a fighter and not have a kit which lets him have 2 skills to pull off crazy schmicks to let him easily pull off assassination level plays on multiple targets at once. If they give a champion powerful gimmicks then its not fair for them to be able to easily excel at many other things like they are some kind of Super Teemo who has permanent capped W with quintuple the move speed effect from it right at level 1, his shrooms have no cost or stock limit and they have no duration on how long they are on the field

So yeah: -More champions need the grounding gimmick or even maybe add it as a after effect for some champions who could use some CC power or CC updates to their kit to be able to counter act mobile champions more. -Mobile champions need to have measures to reduce them being extremely mobile, can build tankie and still have the capability to burst champions down (such as heavy scaling requirements to do any effective damage). -They need to hurry up and rush out the nerfs to Tank Yasuo already and drag along champions like Akali, Nautlius and several other champions who get cheesie builds 'especially' when its only thru 1 or 2 items early on that allow them to pull 1vs2 or even 1vs3 scenarios against a good deal of the enemy team.
