My suggested Master Yi Rework.

Passive: Every other basic attack heals him for his on hit effect damage Q: Stays the Same except remove it's ability damage and instead he "basic attacks up to four targets applying on hit effects" W: Passive: same as current passive "double strike" Active: gives attack speed increase. E: Passive- does on hit magic damage based off his attack speed. Active: (Auto-attack reset) Yi's next basic attack slows the target for "x" percent for "x" seconds but losses E passive while on CD. R: Stays the same but remove attack speed increase and change movement speed into a flat increase.

I feel these things not only fix a lot of issues he currently has but still allows him to be unique as a character. Even if no one agrees with my suggested Master Yi rework, no one can say he isn't in need of one. If anyone has any other suggestions feel free to comment, this is just one of my many thoughts. The biggest problem is trying to make him keep his old feel to him, make him viable, and not make him too strong. Just strong enough to do his job: Late game melee carry. Thanks for reading have a nice day. :)

Yi's not completely an on-hit carry, so this would ruin his crit build.

Not only that, E comes scarily close to making him Jax. Q would hurt his jungle clears (rn it does a lotta extra damage against minions and monsters). Ult would be pretty useless tbh.

His early dueling would be stronger with a dueling W, and he really doesn't give up much late game. Putting his attack speed into his W is scary too - Might turn him into another Olaf, with 1.8 attack speed at full health with 1 45% AS item.

Think about the kit as a whole with a build. It supports attack speed builds almost all crit items have attack speed. In my opinion it will no where ruin his crit build honestly I'd be better than it is now even if you don't build on-hit you'd still have a nice scaling heal from you passive via your E. The Q and E are "basic attacks" which basic attacks crit :3 if that's not enough you could have the on hit effects from the e be able to crit which would be interesting but let's be honest here his crit build is currently garbo right now so almost any change is good. I think an on-hit kit would open up more build variations than the one's he currently has and make all of his current builds still viable. I.E. on-hit would be very good, his crit would still be good, his tanky build would also be good and not do too much damage but give a nice heal while fighting. as far as the E making him hybrid like jax maybe making the E physical damage but then tanks would destroy him (there's a reason it's TRUE damage currently) I dont think you'd want true damage coming from this theoretical kit so i suggested magic and it wouldn't even have to be that much magic damage either. Let's be honest why give him scaling ad when he builds attack speed, at least make his damage scale with attack speed on the E. Yi has no early game at all and no way to help his team early which is why I suggested a slow on the E and an attack speed buff on the W but I'd be content with just the slow on the E and passive on the w (possibly a different active but I couldn't think of anything to support the kit that wouldn't overpower him). The ult would not be useless with a base movement speed (versus the current percent) it would allow more total movement speed through the course of the game making his late game stronger (which he is a late game carry, currently gets destroyed by all other late game carries) keeping the attack speed buff on the ult would make him too strong so if they were to theoretically do this I'd suggested him not having the attack speed on ult. Again though, this is just one idea I'd love to hear others opinions on a rework because he's in a bad spot right now and really needs one :c look forward to more post, opinions, or ideas for this Kit. :D
