Why match making system is great
It's great. It's great so you can get feeders trolls and toxic players ruining 30-40 mins of your time.

Player behavior systems more efficiently deal with the issues your discussing better the MMR or MM ever will. Negitive impact in a pure MMR/MM system will simply move players with negative behavior down the ladder. They are not responsible for removal or punishment.
Inters? Having the automatized system tag matches where players die far above average then forward the game to a human for review will enable subjective removal of players who try to feed rather then just having off games. Especially with chat log.
This is not MMR or MM.
Toxic behavior is again about player behavior. Better detection, quicker punishment, lower community tolerance. Again.. not MM.
Trolls is a catch all term. Is it fair for me to define it as players in ranked who are not actively trying to win? That's abit harder to deal with because low game knowledge = low skill. A majority of the games players don't have that great of a functional game knowledge.
The common Solution for Ranked Integrity in other games is to have a required time investment of champions, as well as a pool of champions with that time investment. Riot uses their old method, grind to level 30.
The Leauge of legends start to level 30 grind honestly takes longer then a lot of other games. I started from 0 in Heros of the storm made it to ranked then hit gold in about 2-3 weeks of my time, despite it having ranked restrictions. That's 0 to gold in under a month.
I doing it at a far more casual pace right now but I do get a few games of smite in weekly and will likely grind some Ranked ladder to see what their ranked system looks like.
Removal of toxic players makes the game better for the remainder. Community attitude that sees to it that there is a priorty on removing toxic players helps. SMS verification would lower smurfs and banned alts returning to be toxic but wont ever stop them.
There is no MM system in existence that can accurately tell prior to the lobby if some one is going to engage in behavior randomly. But the folks who constantly do it will have those behaviors reflected.
Problem is players are stupid. Reports are used not just for toxic accounts but because you disliked how some one did. Reporting some one who was outclassed is stupid and just adds noise to the automated system. Turns you if your vs some one better then you ya get your ass kicked.
Most "normal" players don't know how to play from behind.
Please direct your irritation constructively to the correct solutions.

I wanted to elaborate that it's not fair if you are versing higher ranks while getting lower ranks who think they are amazing so they just use bad languages acting like no one got feelings. I'm not a toxic player i encourage my team to work together instead of flaming each other. And I know if I get someone better to verse with I would most likely lose due to them having more experience then I do. I know the mmr doesn't know if the players gonna tilt troll or afk. The more you win the more matches you would get people with a low winrate whilst versing those who are in platinum or diamond. Riot did say if they would fix the match making system it would take all season just to complete it and I understand why. Just hopefully rank become a better environment to play in.
