Good champions to Carry Low Elo

videogame1231··1 votes·5,233 views

Hello, this is my alt account but my real account is level 30 and is in silver 5. Hoping to get to a higher elo in the next season, I want to master a champion that can carry most games through bronze-gold. I main jg and mid but I'm honestly fine with every lane: it just seems that bot is very reliant on the team and same and top is very isolated so can't carry. I was hoping for some suggestions on champions that can carry low elo. A lot of the time I play ranked, my team feeds before I can do anything. By the time I'm level 3, the enemy has first blood and it gets out of control fast. Thank you very much for your suggestions.

I am willing to dedicate alot of time to the champion, so do not worry if it's a high skill cap champion.

get good. Any champ can carry low elo.

Kat is SUPER easy. Got out of bronze with a 64 percent win rate using her. Takes some practice timing fights though

It says you are silver 5. Do you have any idea how good she is to get to gold 1?

3ofGot40ve1 votes

I'm assuming it cant be much harder. Gold still has people who don't know much about the game except basic positioning and the reason for doing things. She is probs anyones best bet up until plat. Some champions fit different people better however. Kat is just super easy to capitalize on mistakes and hard to shut down once ahead. their are even kat mains out there in master+ elo but this takes a lot of dedication. 1 example is the streamer Thalies.

Overall, she is fairly easy and godlike if you put in the effort. Highly recommend. [slayer-pantheon-thumbs]

Okay, thank you very much for your feedback.

rengar is the most easy cause people just never ward in bronze silver let alone pink ward or trundle if you're good with him you can just splitpush np

videogame12311 votes

Okay, thank you. Do you have any more champ suggestions? I will try to save up for rengar

I've tried him before but this happens every game with him: I win lane -> I attempt to splitpish -> I get a tower and get 4 people come my way -> Get killed by 4 people -> My team is doing nothing despite my distracting 4 people.

Koldheartedjsp1 votes

this will happen regardless of the split pusher you choose. If you can take one with you/get the inhib tower in exchange for dying, it's probably best to do that

nasus is probabaly another good choice

HamerDrunk1 votes

then its important to know when to push towers if 4 or 5 man are missing you shouldn't push for turret but if you see they are all at an objective or just skirmishing mid then you can go in for a kill or a tower champs like nasus and trundle can easly handle 2 enemy's if played correct and a good farmed nasus can just run up to a tower and 2 a 3 hit with his Qand its by by tower

I'd recommend choosing champions with waveclear/poke and AoE CC. Alternatively, strong snowballing potential and durability if not shut-down.

Personally, I climbed out of Silver after about 30 games (including placement matches) and I had good success with the following champions: Varus ADC, Ziggs Mid, Nasus Top, Gragas Jungle

This was mid-S5 (during the height of the Cinderhulk meta) so the meta has changed significantly, but the reasons behind my choices remain.

Many lower-ELO players prioritize damage and personal snowballing which can often result in your team composition lacking CC, durability and waveclear in exchange of high dueling/skirmishing potential.

Champions who can make up for these deficits (such as those I've listed above) and who are capable of engaging/disengaging fights are quite strong when played properly.

When both teams are standing around an objective and poking until one-side sloppily engages, then champions like Gragas, Varus, and Ziggs shine.

Hmm... seems interesting. Do you have any champion recommendations for this meta? Also, because your a cc wouldn't you be useless if your team falls behind?

EndlessSorcerer1 votes

The thing is that none of those champions are primarily CC. They can deal a significant amount of damage mid-game and late-game, have strong poke (with the exception of Nasus) and waveclear, and have enough utility to remain useful even when not fed.

CC does not fall off. While a champion with little besides CC (i.e. Nautilus) won't be as useful if their team falls behind, their CC will always be influential whether they are 20/0 or 0/20.

I'm not going to recommend champions for you to play (since playstyles and preferences differ greatly between players), but you should keep those factors in mind when choosing your champion pool.

videogame12311 votes

Could you atleast list a few champions that have these traits? I can't think of that many...

EndlessSorcerer1 votes

Off the top of my head, some examples (excluding those I had previously listed) would be: Amumu Anivia Ashe Chogath Corki Ekko Diana Cassiopeia Jinx Lissandra Lulu Lux Maokai Morgana Orianna Veigar Velkoz Viktor Zyra

Thank you very much for your feedback, I appreciate it. Would Volibear be an option?

EndlessSorcerer1 votes

He's a good champion to play (especially in lower ELOs where people don't know how to kite).

I just didn't list him since he doesn't really have poke, safe waveclear, or AoE CC.

Durability is definitely another factor that is commonly overlooked.

Well thank you very much, you put a lot of time and effort into your many comments.

I got out of silver by playing Anivia and Diana. Anivia can be tough to learn, especially where/when to place the wall, but her damage is unreal, especially against the typical squishy mid laner.

I smashed through Silver from S5 to gold 5 spamming Rek'dai jungle and Caitlyn Adc.

Good champions to Carry Low Elo

Literally any of them. It's low elo remember? You can play and win with any champion, provided you are the one that is good. It's not the champion, it's on you. Because, hell, someone got to masters playing Teemo jungle. Not even Teemo. Teemo. Jungle.

StoryDuck1 votes

For Top I recommend Riven as she has so much impact in teamfights with all her AoE that when you get ahead you can easily decide teamfight outcomes with some semi-good plays.

MID I would recommend Brand as he can just Ult a newbie team that groups up and kill them all.

Jungle just grab Rengar and watch the enemy carry melt.

For an ADC you can heavily carry with Jinx and a minor talent for positioning.

As a support grab Blitzcrank and just land a skill shot. The fight is won the second you grab a juicy target. You can even build AP and carry effectively deleting anything you hit a Q with.

Thank you very much, I appreciate your suggestions.

you could probably one trick shyvana to about gold / plat. she's easy as fuck just get sated, counter jungle (safely, ward) a lot and farm and then once you're sated nobody can come anywhere near you

personally i used leona to get out of silver but support is not for everyone

videogame12311 votes

Thank you very much for your feedback. I completely forgot I own shyvana, I will try that out. Thank you very much.

videogame12311 votes

Welp. None of this champions I own, and I only have 2000 ip. Time to start grinding

The Deckowner1 votes

shyvana, yi, jax, xin zhao, tryn, every single devourer jungler are easy tp play and carry with, especially ones like shyvana and yi whi are extremely good at farming so the performance of their teammate will be less influencing.

bloodybadger11 votes

Vi She carried me out. Can kill anything after 2 early offensive items including tanks, bruisers, mages, assassins, adcs, other junglers, and obviously supports. Good clear. Focus objectives after you learn the general mechanics.

videogame12311 votes

Well, thank you all very much for your feedback, I'm attempting to use Shyvana and Brand. Later on, I will most likely buy Rengar.
