Hello, I was wondering what are some good mid laners for solo queue, in low elo. I'm looking for the champ to match these qualifications: Is a safe pick (Not many counters). Can carry games, if the player is good. Not SUPER hard champion to master(#Syndra). Can snowball off of lane

are my recommendations based on your criteria. Both are solid picks; there are some counters, but you can play safe and both scale well into mid-late game.
If you want an assassin, 
are incredibly safe, difficult to kill in lane due to sustain, good defensive ability, good clears, etc. though their effectiveness drops slightly outside of lane. They are still very good, however.

I feel like Karthus and Viktor are 2 of the hardest champions.... Veigar is easy against ap's but any assassin and you are done for. Lux I agree with.
My personal favorites are

They do good damage, but the main thing that helps is the cc.
Slows/snares, and you can build them with
to be even tankier with even more cc.
Good picks with good damage.
EndlessSorcerer1 votesI find Karthus to be pretty easy to pick up. He mostly just farms early game (unless you know how to get kills on him) and picks up kills and assists with his ultimate. Later in the game, you want to do as much damage as possible and, if needed, find the best place to die for your team.
I will agree that Viktor can be more difficult to pick up though.

literally stomps all of bronze for some reason. i dont get it.
ult is zhonyas that damages the enemies AND heals yourself.. i don't think you can get much safer than that honestly. also she counters the fuck out of zed and everyone in bronze thinks they're faker so you see a lot of zeds.
1 800 MID LANE1 votesSyndra really isn't that hard to play. At level 9, a Q > W > R will nuke most squishies if you're even with them and it'll still take a good chunk of health if you're behind. I do recommend playing her at least enough to get a decent grasp of it.
Lux is definitely a very safe pick in solo queue because she has ridiculous range and can snowball pretty easily. The same goes for Ahri with the snowball thing. You might even try picking up LeBlanc. She's not exactly easy, but she can stomp people pretty hard in lane and people see a LeBlanc in champ select and constantly think their lane is already lost so they either play super safe and miss farm or play super aggressive to try to deny you any. The latter is when you go ham with the Q > W poke.
