Kayle rEwork
As a (on and off) Kayle main, I'd like to propose a change to Kayle's kit (specifically, her E) that would make her not only more fun to play, but more viable of a pick as well.
I love Kayle's kit - it fits her thematically. Her ult defines her, as well as her 'Angel raining retribution down on the fields of battle aoe attack with a sword" style of play. However, her E is not a fun ability - it is not engaging, it requires no timing or skill. E is essentially a glorified passive that requires her to build CDR just so she can spam push E to keep it active in fights - and all so that she can be a RANGED champion. That is neither for fun nor engaging, it doesn't give her an ability to play around with timing or skill. There is no reason for Kayle to ever be a melee champion at any time... She can't even use the melee-only items...
So, proposed change/minor rework - Make Kayle a ranged champion. Make her auto-attacks ranged, but single target - still no projectile, but with a "slashy" animation on her attack target - kind of like Kayn's attacks do. Then make her E a higher cooldown or lower duration ability that makes her auto attacks her defining aoe attack style. A short window where she can rain down her fury in glorious armageddon fashion. This will also allow her gasp the CHOICE of whether or not to shove the bejeezus out of her lane.
Kayle = ranged champ. Slashy auto animations. E = temporary aoe auto attack buff.
Simple change.. huge improvement. I realize this may make her seem more like a typical marksman.. but have her burst nerfs, she's already like that anyway.
TL:DR - I threw out a bunch of key words and a cringey title joke in hopes of Rito making the changes I want to my fav champ. Also please wipe the guacamole some Rioter spilled on my favorite Viridian Kayle skin. Thanks!
