I know this post is a bit late considering that the Viridian Kayle "update" has been out for quite awhile, but I wanted to recall attention to the skin was, for the longest time, my absolute favorite skin. If I recall correctly, it was the first skin I'd ever bought.

This skin used to beautiful, with simple yet great contrast in colors, silver armor, green cloth/gems, and black wings. I was sold.

And now it looks like someone went on all-asparagus diet for a week and this is what they shat out. How did this even remotely seem like a good idea?

I understand the argument "It was changed to match the splash (hell, I liked the old splash just as much) and match the name 'viridian.'" Well, I didn't buy the skin for the damned splash art (which changed) and certainly not for the name. I bought it for the skin itself.

I want that skin back, and I don't care how. Make a chroma and I'll buy it. Make another skin, and I'll buy that. Just ... give me my favorite skin back. Please.

I loved the old Viridian Kayle, and the old splash. The silver green and black looked so good. Now I have no need to have this new version.

I really loved the simple silver armor with the green. It just looks better then the blue/green thing they have going.

While I approve of skin matching the name as far as Viridian is concerned. The "new" skin just looks like a blob of color unless you are heavily zoomed in. It just looks like someone put a glob of blue and green on a paper plate, swirled them around a bit with a stick so there were streaks of both and then cut it out in kayles shape.

It would have been preferable if they slightly changed the hue on her pre-update version to add a tiny bit more blue, and changed the name to Emerald Kayle.

With the green and blue so close in tone and saturation, the skin just loses all of its details. It just looks like an ugly turquoise blob with blue wings, it's truly horrendous.

The black wings are cool, but they aren't really thematically accurate for the skin. I can (intellectually) understand the loss for you though. You lost your favorite skin--unless they'd really outdone themselves it was going to be a sad event.

New one looks like a boring recolour skin, so that fits the skin perfectly. Old one is a bit weird, like shouldn't she have green wings if she has green everything else? Either way, it's just a cheap Kayle skin and for anyone who cares about Kayle, there are other skins.

I liked the black wings more, but I think the updated armor has a better color scheme and would look really badass with black wings.

I really would like a Rioter to acknowledge how the community (at least the majority of people that even have/use the skin) feels about this ugly change. I don't think it would really be much effort to just change it back.

Edit: Then I would actually use the skin again.

Maybe you could find a custom skin in the mean time? I agree with you, the skin looked better before.

i personally like the newer one a bit better but honstly i use battle born kayle and i dont even really play kayle i used to play her support but it just doesnt work out
