Should I really lose 15 LP because my jungler decides to stop playing before 10 minutes?
How about letting the leaver take a huge spike in LP loss and cushion the blow for the rest of the team. Thanks.

Yes.
They won't do this because it's abusable. It was tried way back in S2 and led to massive toxicity as people on losing teams tried to bully people into leaving so they could preserve their own ranking (before LP was a thing). Never even made it off the PBE.

The real issue is why did they leave. Riot just doesn't care.
Baby steps buddy- let's have Riot detect and punish the leaver first since that literally never happens. Make sure you don't accidentally get frustrated at your afk/inting teammates or you might just get banned for chat while the inter/afk gets to start another game!
