Minor Buff For Amumu (Feel free to downvote)

If Amumu could possibly cast Tantrum[E] whilst moving? Currently you can effectively get cast one - two tantrums after a Q, after that the person is out of range by then. I'm an Amumu main and I know of auto spacing between casts to try and stay within range but even then with his relatively low movement speed usually he's out of range after a couple casts.

Amumu doesn't need buffs I know, but I only ask this to make him more effective as a sticky tank. http://pre14.deviantart.net/9193/th/pre/i/2013/032/f/4/amumu_the_sad_tank_by_heartlessdivine-d5tjczb.jpg

Actually with how the mobility game has gone since Amumu's inception, the idea of him being able to continue walking and not pause (even as shortly as he does) while using Tantrum is a good idea. It would give him a little extra power that might need to be pulled elsewhere from the kit, but seems like an interesting thing.

Yeah I often find it more effective to just stick with them and only E as a finisher or if they are getting out of range. It's kind of frustrating that Mumu's main damage is basically "walk next to them until they die".

They'd either have to increase CD's of his abilities or lower some damage from his kit if they were to do this, but I don't disagree with the idea... but I do hate Amumu for just how simple he is, playing as him or against him. Same goes for Annie and Garen. Probably others, but those are off the top of my head. I feel like Amumu could use a soft rework. His abilities are actually really iconic for him and fit him thematically so I wouldn't like to see any of them go, but I feel like he needs something to make him more exciting to play.

Some champions need to be simple so that they are easy to learn. Currently Amumu is a 450 IP jungler who has really basic and straightforward skills as to lend himself to be easy to pick up and still fun enough to play. I think Riot should avoid making every champion an Ekko or Twisted Fate.

I agree that there should still be simple champions, but I stated that he could probably use a "soft rework". So think about it like the recent Garen rework. It kept all of his core mechanics but added a little bit to it while taking some parts out to make a more interesting champion that brings more to the game than the old Garen.

So with Amumu, his passive is kinda boring and I think it could be modified to benefit him more and help his jungling as the mr reduction does nothing for him here. Other things to consider would be additional effects to his E other than the reduction to basic attacks as again this is kinda bland. Something that would help him stick to a target might be a better tool for him. They really should reduce the hitbox of his Q and I am sorry, but it is way fatter than the animation and he should get the Leona treatment on this one, but if this hurts him too much, he can get buffs in the form of CD's, mana costs, and damage increases on abilities. If he were to receive such a rework, I think he would keep all of his abilities in their core function, but there would just be a little bit more to him.

I will admit, I haven't played the new Garen rework. I think it's pretty strong on paper, and I might enjoy him a little more thanks to his new "anti carry" role being emphasized, but Garen has historically been a boring champion for me so I put him on the list.

As far as Annie... F&#@ that champion. I don't really see why anyone would play her if she wasn't strong and the worst part is that she is incredibly strong and easy. Give that ult a cast time ffs Riot and maybe I wouldn't consider her such a dumb champion, but that's really what she is right now: dumb.

I do see the need for mechanically simple champions in league, but I also think they should bring something truly unique to the gameplay experience as well as having a more dynamic play pattern. With someone like Annie (particularly Mid/Top Annie), it is really just bursting out your opponent within the duration of your stun to take them out of the fight without a real chance for them to react. Annie's Tibbers is the ONLY ranged AOE instant cast Ultimate in the game and one of the only abilities in the game to have this uncounterability to it. Other instant cast abilities are single target or a zone effect like Malz or Soraka E (these might actually have cast times, I'm not sure).

I think that Riot can make these champions better is what I'm saying, even if their kits don't go through drastic changes. Annie can be a better champion and still be simple to play. So can Amumu and I think a soft rework could give him that.

I don't think Amumu needs a rework. He isn't a toxic champion, and he's pretty balanced. He has counterplay but his teamfighting ability alone can win games.

Easy mechanics 450 champs are something that needs to stay in game. The game is hard enough to learn w/ all the items and champs you have to know at least a little about to be at all able to play ranked, and there need to be champs that can easy players into the game. Additionally Amumu does have some learning curve in terms of decision making. It may not be super high, but you know you've seen the low elo Amumu who flash bandages and lands the 5 man ult then rages at his team for not following up. WTFH man, most people don't have that much to close the gap so fast and your ult doesn't last for a super long time. The 5 people can't move but they can cast and ranged auto the Amumu and his ass will be dead by the time team gets there. Also the difference between a 3 and 5 man ult is pretty big so learning to hold it is important, and knowing when to save bandage for the stun vs when you only need ult bc stun doesn't matter as much as root, and you can safely use bandage to make a pick. Like I said, not huge but important. (Also great for teaching how to avoid counter jungling bc he's one of the weaker early game jungles that's viable. If I'm Amumu and I DON'T get invaded I start to figure the opponent isn't very good at jungle.)

I would love to see this small buff on amumu. This champ will always have a special place in my heart because my first ever pentakill was with amumu. Happened because of pure luck, slow movement(even with boots) and hitting my ult after showing up late to a team fight.

You could always try Rylai's if you want to stick better.
