I used to absolutely love playing league of legends. It is such a well designed game that mysteriously keeps me intrigued even when I go on those dreaded losing streaks, but I am currently being driven away from this game at an alarming rate. Every time I log in to play a game anymore I'm met with nothing more than exceptionally toxic players. Whether they are on my team or the enemy team, they are in almost ever game I play. This is very frustrating when all I want to do is play a friendly game where the other players don't feel the need to constantly berate other players. I have no idea how you may be able to accomplish this riot, but I believe in you guys and I think your supporters deserve a peaceful environment to play in.

TL;DR: The community is so toxic that the waters between baron and dragon are poisonous and no longer safe to tread on. If something isn't done I fear the infection will spread and destroy all of summoners rift.

I had a great game the game before last. Nobody was toxic, everyone did their best, and we just stomped the other team.

I play with friends most often, so I rarely see any of this "toxic community". Honestly when you say "Toxic Community" that's like saying we live in a "Criminal Society" because crime happens, so does toxicity, it's a Community / Society issue.. but why do a handful of people define it? Pretty illogical.

Give Dominion a shot.

The shorter game times, lack of snowballing, and faster pace results in a significantly less toxic environment for the most part. There simply isn't enough downtime to faff about and heckle your team mates for minor mistakes.

There are relatively new systems in place to deal with the toxicity, it's just going to take sometime to see long lasting results. We all just need to be a bit more patient and give the new systems a chance to really to do something.
