items are pretty bad... There is no counter to tanks lel.
Blade of the ruined king is still a good Anti-Tank item, even after the nerf. The new Upgraded Last Whisper too, both of them are good vs mundo. You can either shread him or prevent his healing depending on which one you took.
Use your head. There are items specifically designed to shred tanks now. Sit on a 
if he gets strong early. Get a and then upgrade your EC LAST, as it's not as cost efficient as buying Infinity edge etc 
. BORK has taken nerfs but it's still very strong.
This may not LOOK like the ideal build, but all you have to do is look at winrates.

Honestly? The only thing you -can- do is get 
Obviously, you need the GW. If you do not, he'll have a Visage and will be healing at 6% per sec (Base is 5%, 20% boost is 1% more) and will have about 4-5k health. That's 240-300 healing per second. You'll cut that by 40%, bring him down to a much more reasonable amount of 144-180 per sec. Quite a big decrease, though you can't even get that until your IE, PD, and BotRK are finished.
They may be ok now, but they are your only hope.
Other than builds, you need to abuse the fact you can place several traps fairly quickly and generally prevent him from doing anything to you for a while... When I was trying Cait I found Mundo the easiest to deal with and I didn't even go for the grievous wounds lw, I simply abused my traps since I maxed them 2nd.
A note: you should always get PD against Mundo and nothing else. That is because you can actually outrun him, even if you get hit by cleavers, with the 12% speed bonus. Once you finish both lifesteal items, you use him as a fountain.
