The only thing I'd change about Illaoi
Is give some options for the enemy when your E hits them. I really like the concept of the ability and I think that it's really cool but once you hit them it seems a bit overwhelming - you get to punch the living crap out of them as they have no idea what the hell should they even do at that point. What I'm suggesting is to implement a mechanic of spirit recovery. Make Illaoi's E pull out a spirit and place it behind her. Then the now spiritless enemy has to choose:
- run, have your health drop really low, get massively slowed AND spawn tentacles
- risk your life to recover your spirit by walking into it, ending the effect of any linked damage or monstrosities spawning beside you
This would make a very punishing ability be still somewhat punishing but you will still have an option to outplay it by risking. The risk can be very high, as you will have to either walk behind Illaoi or use a mobility ability to recover your spirit and then try your best to get out.
