Does RIOT even listen to us?
I'm just wondering if and when RIOT listens to us. It feels like whenever there is some game braking meta thing (Ardent Censer, AP Galio, scuttle just to name a few more recent ones) they never listen to us and never ever do a quick patch to change/revert that shit quickly (think they did that with AP Galio though). They also never have an actual response to the player-base via the forms, Reddit or any other source saying "hey guys, sry. We fucked up." It feels like there never listening to the players and even when they are listening, we never really know that. If they want to have a long lasting game that continues to grow in popularity, they will need to start communicating a bit better and making those communications more public. They could do this by simply putting it at the front of the league client or somehow alerting us that its on the boards. it also feels like nothing on the PBE is ever changed beside a few number changes. even on the PBE people were like "ya, scuttle is kinda strange and not making the game any better." and so it bewilders me why RIOT still put it in. I only say all of this with the best hopes for riot and LoL in general. I, like many others, love this game and love RIOT for crating this phenomenal game and only want to see whats best for it. Also I think this change was intended for pro-play but with no games being played till the summer splits its vary confusing on why they would make this change this early.
so in conclusion RIOT just needs to spend some time seeing our input, ideas and thoughts about the stuff they testing on PBE or the changes proposed on the forms, changing that stuff were complaining about and then notify us that the're listening to us. If RIOT can do all of this then they can continue to be an amazing game studio and be a model for others.
Plz up-vote so maybe someone at RIOT can see and start the conversation. Also #NeverForgetAPGalio [galio-happy]
