i've had more success with supports in toplane than bot

what gives riot?

i played bard twice as support, did well the first game and still lost. the second game i did well for the first 15 minutes and then it went downhill

but at top with bard?

i just don't get it lol. i beat a galio and a jax at top too. think about that for a second. galio. and jax. both games i was able to win trades, farm well, and get reasonably tanky in a short amount of time

but bot lane? just a brutal gank-fest that always ends in me being so starved for gold that i can't even afford to build tank items in a reasonable amount of time.

i feel like this is a testament to the garbage state of botlane.

Top lane is literally this:

Step 1: Build full tank Step 2: Don't die at all because noone can kill you Step 3: 1 shot mid and adc because they should kill you but can't because you are tank Step 4: Win game

TL:DR - Doesn't matter what champ you play top, build em tank and you win the game.

i usually just play the tanky stun-bot late game.

also with iceborn it makes you a constant slow machine too.

item 3102 item 3742 item 3025 item 3143 item 3117 item 3065 makes me almost impossible to catch, while also being tanky enough to stall for 10-15 seconds while my team murders them

I know saying most top players suck is really rude and demeaning, However It's overwhelming that those players never play other lanes, there warding skills bad, map awareness bad. For a while I would lock in evelynn top and just proxy well stealing monster camps even now I don't play teemo without the thought of building a sight stone sometime in the game even though it may not be incredibly useful, it gives his map pressure insane and you can bet you'll be stealing blue or red from that jerk lee sin who's been trying to gank you, which you bet puts him on tilt to gank you. Only to realize he can't because you have so much vision that It only puts his team mates at risk for the enemy team to know where he isn't.
