Master Yi, Katarina, Akali and Fizz The champions who are being banned, why?

A while back, Riot removed silence from certain champions because they felt like it wouldn't give players the chance to escape or counter play. Now since Silence is almost out of the picture, Resets is starting to become a big fuss. Notice how Assassins such as the ones mention in the title with the exception of fizz have resets. Those champions have a burst potential and carry/snowball potential as well. So what is making those champions so OP? Resets. Resets gives these assassins the chance to do the same amount of burst over and over. If you think about it, what would happen if Talon's E was able to reset for every kill/assist he makes? that would make him sound pretty OP and ban worthy wouldn't it? Talon is an assassin who can burst just as much as the other assassins except he can't do it constantly, he basically goes in and goes out hoping that he manages to be successful.

So what would happen if Master Yi, Katarina and Akali's resets were taken away? would it solve the problem? would it leave them useless? or was the Idea to give Assassins WHO ARE MENT to be squishy/bursty the ability to reset is too much?

With Fizz, he's the kind of champion who has burst and immunity that people hate, his kit is basically a mixture of ignite, Zhonyas and flash so basically Fizz can do things twice if played correctly.

What I'm saying might sound absurd which pardon because I'm half asleep but it really does come to mind that resets give Assassins more power than they already have. But then again... without the resets it would just make their kit in a bad state except for Akali since Akali has 3 chances to dash to enemies.

Yi is only banned when people don't know how to play against him. He actually gets weaker with every new champion with a hard CC, since they counter his ult. Yi is strong when played well, but Akali and Kat are much worse offenders. Master Yi is actually remarkably balanced, both in win rate and distribution of his win rate across different elos (almost exactly 50% average across all ranks). Kat and Akali actually utilize their resets to be true assassins, while Yi is a carry. His resets barely impact his gameplay (getting alpha strike 3 seconds sooner, big whoop) because his damaging ability already has a cool down resetting mechanic and is balanced accordingly, His meditate only helps with surviving burst, and Wuju style is low CD anyway. the only really noticeable way that they help is that they extend his ult duration for a couple seconds.

Akali resets a huge amount of burst with her ult and snowballs hardest, while Kat resets all of her burst and snowballs hard as well. Fizz is just broken because he is Fizz.

TL;DR: Removing Resets from Yi wouldn't "fix" anything because he isn't broken. Removing them from Kat and Akali would render them useless, and a better solution would be to reduce their burst and transition them completely to "clean up" champs, instead of being able to 100-0 you. Fizz is just fizz and is broken or not broken regardless of these other three.

Ignore this. Downvote if you wish. I just wanted to save this post for when other posts try to say yi is op. Thank you

MasterYi got nerfed to oblivion. His mid play style was destroyed and he's mostly used in the Jg, where he farms to viability.

Fizz is totally fine, because unlike a certain champ Zed , he has mana issues in early game and is kinda weak unless he gets a kill.

Now, Pentarina I agree with. Spammable, click-and-point, ranged harass is stupid. Giving her mana would cut down on that poke.

People are out for Zed's blood these days, pretty sure Katarina will be the next in line to get fixed

EDIT: Meant to say give katarina 'energy", mana would kill her.

Shh you're stupid. Just stop trying so hard.

MasterYi 1:1 ratios are bullshit.

Fizz instant kill, total safety, and easy mode to play.

Zed Instant death to squishy. total safety if you don't have complete downs.

Katarina USE CC! Unlike Fiddy/Morgana, her ult can't be used during Hourglass. You want to nerf her? Fine. Then nerf all champions that can use their ult with Hourglass.

Because they are assassins that stomp people without good teamwork. As such, they are banned often because most of the game population (gold and below) are meh in teamwork, and thus can get stomped by them.

Why? Because people are terrible at this game. They'd rather keep banning the champions who give them trouble than learn how they work and develop strategies for beating them. That would be a lot of work. And then they fall prey to mages and marksmen and complain about how OP they are too.

Fun fact. Most of Yi damage isn't from his Q. His Q is useful as gap closer/flash/displacement follow up and as a dodge tool during a engage, rarely a desengage tool. His E is on hit damage that is a waste of time if you use Q (losing dps if you active E and Q) . If you use W you can only gain tankyness or sacrifice it for and AA reset (so, if used as tank you lose dps, you can't walk with it, you are literally doing nothing but surviving. A Zonyha is way better than that).

Yi has almost no benefits with his resets. Akali gets more burst and mobility out and in it depends on enemy creeps nearby, kat get mobility in/out and aoe damage. He still has to AA EVERYONE to death. I would totaly agree with you if it was about the old AP yi with 100% reset and ap burst from Q.
