sick galio nerf LOL. if you actually somehow had any faith in the balance team that change should erase any hope left.
Any self respecting galio player maxes E last, so its basically 1 sec cd nerf until late late game where he doesnt need help anyway and is already strong.

Righteous Gust (E) Cooldown changed to 13/12/11/10/9 from 12 at all ranks.
Riot PROBABLY sees this as a buff to his lategame (which is true, it is) but im curious as to why they didn't just make it something like
12/11/10/9/8 (or just leave it at 9 for rank 5), unless they're for some reason afraid it will make Galio too strong (which is valid to some extent, you can only buff someone so much before they become a problem; the question becomes if Galio has reached that point, which I don't think he has)
Because galio counters assassins they are nerfing him. We can't have our glorious assassins being held back.
By that logic I am expecting Malzahar to be gutted within the next patch, given that even Zed has trouble laning against him until he has QSS

Dude, no, he counters Assassins because his ultimate automatically peels everything around him off his allies and interrupts any Assassin's potential risky tower dive or back of the line kill, setting them up for a kill. That Zed that just used his R? Well, lets say you dont have to worry about him anymore.

And it's not like his mana costs are punishing.

Galiö1 votesMyself, and other galio mains, level E last. That's means we get the equivalent to our first level at like... level 15... and better at 16-18. This is indirectly a nerf to galio in all stages except for late game. His W is probably his most useful skill and his Q does great dmg but cool down and cost is awful. His ultimate is amazing and terrible and gimmicky. I think a healthier galio would be better ratios for Q and e, and add a spellshiellldddd to his ulT. Then he would be a great pick. I like picking him anyway cause we all hot favorites but still. Lol

(whose passive increased abilities at max rank, so understandable for maxing ability ASAP) no more champion have abilities with only 1 rank except ult at Level 9... even Udyr maybe never maxed any of his abilities before Level 13...
Galiö1 votesAll these threads about Galio made me realize how dumb people are in regards to playing Galio... the super stacking MR fiends that leave Galio lacking in many ways and the people who want to level E quick which leaves his dmg and his tankunless severely lacking in many ways. OP is right that thus is a nerf... and a harsh one. they probably did this yo make debonair Galio more appealing but it actually makes him much worse.
